11/8/2007 The Books are Open

While at prayer, I heard this word:

I am God and My glory I will not share with another. I am the Great I Am, the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings. I am sovereign. All things are subject to My will. Surely I say to you My people, who or what does not obey My voice? Who can stand in My presence? Whose wisdom can stand against Mine? Men run to and fro, and they seek wisdom, but they never find it. They have no understanding. Their paths are darkly lit, and they wander in barren wastelands seeking water to drink, but I say, who can quench their thirst but Me? Who alone has the words to eternal life? They will not come to Me for a drink of water, though they die of thirst. They have hardened their hearts and refused to follow My ways. Shall I not punish them for their impudence? I say to you this day that judgement is stored up for this generation for they are wicked, and they love their wickedness. They take no thought for righteousness. They are carnal, fleshly, pleasers of themselves. They love to wallow in their filth as swine. They roll in their immorality and take delight in their deceits. They despise that which is clean, because they do not understand anything pure. They love mud. For this I will punish them 7 times more than the generations who came before them. They have been offered cleanliness by My Son's Name, yet they loved darkness and destruction. My wrath is kindled and I will not pull back, for the day approaches when every knee will bow before My Name. They will no longer desecrate My temple with their idols and vanity. My name will be feared in all the earth. I Am that I Am. I am God. I come quickly for the sins of nations have risen before Me, and I will not always ignore their iniquity. I will cleanse the earth. I will purge the unclean from among the clean, for I take no pleasure in the wicked. Today is the day of salvation. All those who have ears to hear, open them and I will speak, for it will be as I have foretold. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your old men will dream dreams. Nothing will be held from you in these days. The books of judgement have been opened before you. Who will read? Who will search My ways? Who will come before Me and ask the things which have not been told to those who have gone before you? The understandings were not theirs, because they were not called to walk in the days ahead, but to you My people, all understanding has been given. Nothing will be withheld from those who ask. Nothing will be hidden from those who seek. The doors are opened. Enter in and pray continually that you are found worthy to escape the judgements to come. Night falls. Who will be found with oil in their lamps?

Scriptural Confirmation:

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the word are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundered and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. (Daniel 12: 8-13)

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see vision: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids I will pour My Spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. And it shall com to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Sion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. (Joel 2: 28-32)

After I heard this word, I had a very brief vision. I saw a large ship moving through the ocean. It was an old fashioned steam liner like the Titanic, and I understood that it had already left its dock and was moving towards its destination.

The understanding:

The ship represented judgement, specifically for this nation. The fact that the ship had already left dock reminded me that judgement is on its way. It is coming. Also, the fact that judgement was represented by a ship reminded me of an earlier understanding that someone, I don't remember who, had. Basically, when a ship begins moving in water, it is very hard to stop. In this way, it is similar to God's judgement, because once set in motion, it would be hard, if not impossible, to stop. Therefore, we need to remember that judgement is coming, and it can't be stopped at this point. It might slow down and then pick up speed, but it definitely won't stop moving forward.
