Yesterday in church, I could not enter in to the spirit of God because I had offended a good friend of mine who is also a sister in the Lord. Although I new that there was nothing between God and myself, I realized how important it is to be blameless not only before God, but also before men. I repented and plan to apologize to that person later after church. Then, Right before church was about to end the Lord showed me a vision.
I was standing before a great mountain with snow on the peaks of it. I then looked behind me and saw a forest with a narrow path/trail that was exiting it. The Lord then took me to the beginning of the path. It started off like most hiking trails would. It was made out of cement and led to a wide dirt path that had trees on both sides. As I was walking the path, I came across a fallen log that blocked the path. I had two choices, I could stay on the path and have confidence that I had the ability to climb over the log, or I could step off the path and try to go around it. After stepping over the log and continuing the hike, I noticed the path became more narrow, and the forest on the sides became more dense. I then came across a river. The path stopped at the river, and then I could see where it started back up on the other side. I had two choices. I could walk straight across the river to the other side, or I could go look for some bridge or other way to cross it. After crossing the river the path became very narrow and the forest became extremely dense. I finally saw the end of the path and exited the forest. I could see the mountain now, and realized to get to the mountain, there were hills and other obstacles in the way. I was left with two choices, I could have faith and confidence and began heading towards the mountain, or turn back.
Understanding, the path is obviously the Christian walk that God has made. We first have to choose that we want to began the path, even know we can't see the end. When the log comes up we realize that walking the path of life is not always easy and obstacles will come. Then we will be left with decisions to make. Next, is the river and it is of God. Its the baptism of the Holy spirit. Sadly, many people stop at that point. They feel good because they chose to walk the path, but they don't want to continue because they are content with what they have. They are Comfortable. They might dip their toe in the water, but they won't dive in. Why would God put it there if it wasn't for us? Embrace it, and once you have it, cherish it. It shall teach you all things, and you will have no need of any man to teach you because it will lead you into all truth. On the path following, God begins to teach us how to be Adults in Christ, and we began eating the meat of the word. ( as the scripture says) We began to receive directly from God and realize that he doesn't live somewhere on Mars, but he lives in us, and walks with us daily. Then when we exit the forest, we see the huge mountain that has been waiting. We know now that God has been with us all of long, and that he has never left us or forsaken us. Hopefully we all decide to keep going. To the top of the mountain is where God is calling all of us to be. I hope this is only encouragement to everyone, and that it might keep us mindful of where God has brought us, and where it is he wants us to go.
God bless, Chad

Amen, brother.
I thank God for this vision that He gave you and the understanding.
I receive it. I can see it as I read it.
So true it is that many have come to the river and only dipped their toe. We should fear only God, and trust that it is by His Spirit alone that we can hear and understand all that He has revealed.
Let us continue on the path that He has set before us and continue to be obedient to all that He speaks.
The mountain is before us, and as you wrote, Chad, the Lord is calling us to the top of the mountain. Those who allow the Lord to lead them to the top, where the pure waters are, above the storm and the tree line, will be protected in the days to come. But we must always put on humility that we do not err in the way and stumble back down the mountain due to pride.
God is with us. Let us open our ears and eyes to hear and see what His Spirit is revealing to us for these times.
God bless,
Ryan
Chad,
You are receiving the heart of a mature Christian. Asking for forgiveness is often a type of log or obstacle that those who will be mature often leave undone. Sometimes we try to avoid the issue by going around but we would have left the path. On the other side of the blockage is a river of cleansing and refreshing that we must pass though if we if we are to remain in God's will. The hike to the high places of God requires maturity, obedience and humbleness that our Father ensures the lessons will be learned, or He will have no part with us. If we are to travel the higher path of the mountain of God, we must be Holy, for He who called us is Holy
I thank God for you Chad, be patient, let patience have its perfect work. Be anxious for nothing. Wait on God, who will always renew your strength.
