A word

Yesterday as I was praying the Lord started to show me a few things. First he led me to a scripture in Joshua 24:14-25....

Joshua 24:14-25 (King James Version)

14Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
17For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
18And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
19And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
20If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
21And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.
22And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
23Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
24And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
25So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

Soon after i was done reading this scripture the Lord gave me a vision. I saw a flag pole with the american flag waving at the top. I could see nothing but the flag and the ground which it stood on. Then I saw people start to come and lay flowers at its base, some even bowed down before the flag. Then wind started to blow and almost immediately the flag pole started to fall over. As it fell i could see roots at the bottom of the pole but they were very shallow and withered. When it all hit the ground the flag instantly burst into flames. and then the Lord spoke this to me.

No more shall this nation be honored. No more shall she sit in her pride. Oh you who dwells in the mountains, I will make you low. For who will exalt themselves against me? Or who will bring accusation against me? For I am the Lord and I have made all things by my word and established them. I formed the heavens and the earth, every flying bird and every fish, and every creature that dwells on the earth. I have formed the stars and the sun, the moon was of my crafting. Who is likened unto me and who shall you compare me to? For I have seen the day of your calamity and the day of your fall, for pride always come before the fall. For you have exalted yourself against me, and have not repented. For your sin I shall give you double and for your treachery, I will bring you low. Behold your enemy rises against you and they shall have their way. For I have taken my hand of blessing from you and have given the curse in its stead. And what is this treachery that the prophets lie and the pastors destroy my sheep? I shall rise against you and I shall destroy all those who destroy my people. And the prophet who imagined a vain thing and prophesied lies in my name, I shall judge him quickly. When they prophesy "peace" I will give them destruction and when they say "Abundance, abundance in the land" I shall give them famine. But look to me my righteous ones, my chosen ones, for out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water. When destruction comes I shall be with you and the destroyer shall not come near you. I shall raise a standard against all those who resist you. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day for strength. Choose me and put away the former things for all things do I make new. Walk in faith, and not by sight, for the just shall live by faith. When famine come you shall have plenty, and when the plague come you shall not be harmed. Judgment first begins in my house, when then shall the sinner and ungodly appear? They have chosen their ways. But I say those who have ears to hear, hear for I come quickly and I shall pour out the former rain of my fury and the latter rain of my spirit. For those that have shall be given more, but those that feared and held back I shall abhor them, and I shall break up their house and all they have shall be taken and given to him that is worthy. Watch for I bring destruction upon this land. Have faith for those that put their trust in me shall not be shaken.

I was talking to a brother yesterday whether or not to share these things, and I felt stirred to put it on the blog. Also there was another vision I had just a few days ago that goes along with what the spirit was saying. I was over looking a green field. Picture perfect grass and hills. Off to my left I saw a white picket fence that spanned as far as you could see. All of a sudden a flame consumed it from one end to the other. Very violently and very fast. The I looked off to my right and I saw a white house not too far off and in the distance a shepard watching over his sheep. And the Lord stirred me in the understanding that the white fence represented the line between serving this world and serving God. That when the door is shut that line will be destroyed. Anyone to close to it would be burned or even killed. In time to come and even now we have no room to serve our lusts and god, or any other thing that takes out of his peace. We should be always watching always praying, being separate unto God, dwelling in his pasture far from the judgment soon to come. Gods promises are always true and if we whole heartily serve him and hate the garment even spotted by the flesh, we will be kept. To God be the glory and God bless. ~Austin~
