When I first became a Christian 5 years ago, it seemed like God was dealing with us at a fast pace. The older I got in the Lord, I learned that the more a Christian gives up for God, the more God will give back to you in the spirit. The past year or so I have felt like God has been chastening us more and more, and in the past 3-4 months I have really felt the church take some big steps. It seems like we have been overcoming many trials and learning something new everyday. Once we come to the place where we are humble before God, and we realize that God is truth, love, and our best friend if we let him be, then after these realizations we will understand that God's promises to us are true. We can receive our "daily bread" as the scripture says. We need to truly know God and the only way to do that is to stay humble and have faith that God is everything, and he will lead us into all truth and he will show us his heart. We need to hate the garment spotted by the flesh. We need to hate the world, and love and serve God. God hates the lukewarm. It says that he will spew them out of his mouth. They have one foot in and one foot out. They like God and try to serve him in what's convenient to them, but they also love the world and make it the treasure of their heart. We can't be lukewarm in anything, but we need to be led by his spirit. If you don't have the spirit of God, we need to humble ourselves and ask for it. It is the "sword." It is everything to a Christian. God is calling us to a "higher place," of understanding, of wisdom, and of walking not just in faith, but in the power that can be given to us by the Holy Spirit. Let God's will be done in all of our lives. Let this be our prayer night and day.
God bless you all, Chad

Amen, Chad.
As the end of the time of the gentiles draws closer, and as the division between those who are God's and those who call themselves God's becomes clearer (Jesus himself spoke to the church saying 'You say I come to bring peace, but I say no rather division'), it will become obvious who those are that have hated the garment spotted by the flesh.
God will cause His light to shine brightly through us. And when men's hearts are failing them for fear, only those who have sought the face of God and waited patiently upon Him will be found in that place of rest and peace in the Spirit.
God bless,

Amen Chad,
Many sit on their spiritual haunches thinking the rapture is my ticket out, God will accept me. Others say in their heart, if God wants me to change he'll have to tell me. Those who are willing put their faith on the line and ask God if they are worthy are the ones with a humble and contrite heart. They pray that they are worthy to escape by seeking the truth. Not the truth as approved of by man but by the confirmation that the Holy Spirit gives.
To receive the confirmation of acceptance by God one must believe He is who He said He was and will respond as He said He would, and be willing to repent of everything earthly, carnal, and sensual in their heart and life. We must worship in Spirit and in truth. Offering our lives as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Not carnal as to who most of the epistles were sent, but after the perfecting of the truth.

How true, Chad! In these times there is certainly a call to become increasingly separate from the world. I know for my own part, that I had been a 'churchgoer' for most of my life, although sin and rebellion were ever part of my nature. I desperately wanted more of God, and experienced the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but it was not until twelve years ago that I fell on my face before Him and saw that I was not dead to self, that I did not love Him with my whole heart and that I had never 'been crucified with Christ'. His ways are not our ways and the way He chooses to draw each of us, and how we respond, is uniquely different. Let us continue on to die daily, to come into His presence daily and receive from Him, desiring Him and Him alone. I think we have to remain in that place of desperation, knowing that without Him we are wretched. So many worldly churches crave signs and wonders...well, that's all they'll get, but the greatest wonder of all is the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome sin in a man - and that is something no one can do by human effort.
Thanks Chad, really appreciated this word. Praise His Name.
God Bless,
Bonny
