While I was praying today during lunch, the Lord led me to read in the book of Habakkuk. As I read, the scripture below stood out to me:
Habakkuk 2:3 - 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
After reading this verse, I felt stirred to pray and the Lord began to speak (understandings in parentheses):
Remember what I have shown you regarding this nation, even the judgment that is set against her? Remember what you have seen regarding the strong winds overtaking many cities and the fires in Nevada. Remember this day the storms that will come against the east (Florida/Georgia area) and the mountain that will erupt (Mt. Rainier). Remember all of these things I have shown you for they will not tarry, but they shall surely come. Watch for them My son, and pray that you are found worthy to escape the wrath that is to come. For the day of darkness comes, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light. And all men will fear and tremble at the sound of My voice, for My anger is kindled and My judgment set.
Put on righteousness and continue on the path that is set before you, holding nothing back. Do not become weary in well-doing, as some have, for even as it is written in My word, you will reap if you faint not. Seek wisdom and understanding. Call upon Me daily that I may give you all that you need to stand, both now and in the days to come. Many have departed from the truth, they have left their first love. Will I not judge them for this? I tell you those who seek to please themselves will have no part with Me and all that they have known will be required of them in the day of judgment (even their very life, they chose to love it more than the Truth). But I say to you, all who take up their cross and die to themselves will surely live. Choose to hear Me daily and to be obedient to all that I speak to you for I come quickly, and when I return I desire that faith be found in you.
God has been stirring His people for a long time regarding the judgment that is set. Anyone with ears to hear knows that this is true. And as a brother mentioned recently, it seems the Lord has heard the cries of His people and has extended mercy to this nation. But as the Lord has said, and many of His know, the things He has revealed will not tarry any longer. The time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, what of the ungodly and the sinner?
We must make God the only thing we desire in our lives. We must wake up every day with His praises on our lips and His words in our mouths. We must be an extension of Him and walk in obedience that we please Him daily (that we are not cut off from the vine).
God give us all ears to hear.

Faithful word Ryan,
And all true. I think that if people cannot hear the sound of the day it's almost to late to be prepared, though He tarry (doesn't start).

Amen,
This really bears witness to me. It confirms all that we have been getting. It also puts us in rememberence of the Lord's promises.
God bless, Chad
