Do not allow yourself to be overtaken by the words of men. For by much speaking many will try to take captive those who are of a humble and contrite spirit. I tell you, be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. Call upon My name and pray that My will be done in every situation, knowing that I am your ever present help in time of need. Greater is He within you than he that is in the world.

Amen,
Being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove is exactly what I want to be. This is basically what I was just talking about with Tara, and I pray that it be added to me. One specific example being, I need to learn when not to talk (a very wise thing), so that I do not cause any harm among God's people.

This completely bears witness to me. This is wisdom that God has been drawing me towards lately actually. Meakness (harmless as a dove)is a thing that God does place in us. To be mindful, to be wise (as a serpent) is something he also puts in us to show His strength, to draw others with it's light. Meak is not weak. But darkness will try overpower the meak misplacing it for true humble strength from God alone. It will try and decieve those to thinking the same. It is wise to know where and when to be contrite. This is so we can stand firmly in the physical world but not of it. Let nothing take our peace.
