My Will Be Done

The Lord is perfecting His church. He is causing those who are His sons and daughters (as many that are led by the Spirit are the sons of God) to remove everything from their life that would keep them from living according to truth. He desires all of to live our lives according to the truth of His word, that others may hear and be strengthened and protected in the times to come.

The Lord gave me this yesterday when I was praying at work during lunch. I know the things God speaks seem personal, but they are often for all who can receive them (the word didn't come to us or through us only, it is God's word):

What would it mean to you if I told you that you would lead My people out of captivity, even as Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt? If by your faith the blind would receive their sight and the deaf ears would be opened? What if you were the one I sent to tell the weak that they live and die unto no man but unto Me? These things do I desire of you that My will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Tell those that are weak that I the Lord will be their Shepherd and for them not to let any man lord over them. To hear the words of wisdom and accept them are a good thing but to desire that a man teach you is not My will for I said that when the Comforter comes, He will lead you into all truth. Whatsoever He hears of the Father, that is what He speaks. The arm of man is weak, but by My Spirit all who believe on Me and accept My promises can be made strong.

Speak to those who struggle within themselves and say: The flesh is weak but the spirit is willing. Do not let up but seek My face that you may enter in to My presence and find rest. Know this: that the trial of your faith works patience. That only those who believe the words of My mouth and endure to the end will be made pillars in My temple. Do not accept anything less for I have already made the way. I have opened your eyes to see the path that is set before you. Walk, looking not the left or to the right, but keeping your eyes fixed on Me always. You are not weak for I am strong in you. Do what is right always for I delight in those who walk in righteousness and in truth.

Speak to those who love this life more than they love walking in truth: I take no pleasure in you. For though you once tasted of Me and though I delivered you from the darkness you were once in, you have returned as a dog to its vomit. Eating again the things that were unclean. Do you think I am partial? If I called you out of the darkness, why do you go running back from where you came? You have chosen your end. I offered life and peace to you, yet you chose torment. Though you say with your lips that I am your Lord, your heart is far from Me. Faith without works is dead. If you say that you believe but you do not walk according to the truth of My word, I will have no part with you. You have your reward.

What God is speaking to all who can hear is strong meat. He is telling those who have chosen to serve Him to hold fast to what they have that no man take their crown. He is telling those who struggle within themselves to keep their eyes fixed on Christ, walk according to truth, and endure that they may receive the crown of life. He is speaking to those who have tasted of Him but have chosen the darkness of this world telling them that He will have no part with them and they have their reward (what they chose in this life instead of everlasting life).

God is not mocked. He is not a hard taskmaster. His yoke is easy and burden is light. I realize that I, too, have to eat eat these words unless I myself become a castaway. The word of God is true, it is sharper than a two -edged sword. I just pray that we would fall on the rock (Jesus) that the rock doesn't fall upon us. Go unto God this day in the spirit of meekness that He may receive you and minster to you as His sons and daughters.
