Trial of Your Faith

All who know God know that He is coming back for a spotless church—a church that not only professes Him with their mouth, but whose heart is toward Him also. We must all work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, but I am constantly in awe of how the Spirit of God speaks to all of us in a similar fashion, regarding similar truths. What the Lord gave me during church yesterday is below:

Word
Hold fast to the truth. Those who the Son has made free are free indeed. Love those things which I love and hate evil. Hate even the garment spotted by the flesh. For if everything should pale in comparison to how much you love Me, how much more should you hate the things that are according to the flesh? Righteousness, truth, a pure heart, these things do I love. Pride and confusion are not of Me and I take no pleasure in those who choose to walk in these things.

Now is the time to put off the things of old, repent of dead works and return not to them any more. For My judgment is soon to be poured out. I can hold it back no longer. But to those who have kept their first love, those who have chosen to love truth and the liberty that comes when My Spirit comes, to you My word is true. One thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but destruction will not draw near you. I desire for you to stand in the days to come and to strengthen the weak. But you must be holy as I am holy, and go unto perfection. For if anyone desires anything less, they have not received Me or My words. I said learn of Me for I am meek and lowly. Seek meekness and righteousness that you may be hid in the day of destruction. Who has sought Me for these things? Who has made wisdom their sister and understanding their kinswoman? It is given to you to know the end of a thing from the beginning. Let faith arise, die to yourself and hear Me this day. I do speak and My sheep know My voice. Do not follow another's for many are blind and have not the Spirit of truth dwelling in them. I have come that you may have fellowship with the Father. Let not unbelief keep you from entering in to the fullness of what I have for you. Seek first My kingdom and My righteousness that all things will be added unto you and that all may see that you have no lack. I am with you always.

The day comes when all that you have been given will be required of you. Prepare your heart, and be holy and separate unto Me that you would desire nothing but Me and My will to be done in your life.

Do I not know how to make a perfect vessel? The trials of your faith work patience, that is why it is written to rejoice that you are worthy to be tried. The trials that come against you have no power over you unless you allow it. Endure. Endure to the end for those who do have lived by every word that has proceeded from My mouth and you will be given a crown of life.

James 1:2-4,12
²My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; ³Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. ⁴But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing...¹²Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.


Vision/Understanding
I saw a vision of the river of God. The river of God is the river of life. It purifies and cleanses those who have been obedient to live in it. I saw the current which was likened unto the leading of the Spirit. I saw that there were rocks in the river, some larger than others. These were likened unto the trials that God allows in our lives. There are some who do not keep their eyes fixed on what God has set before them to do. When the trials (rocks) come, they take the blow in the side, the back, or even the head because they did not allow themselves to be warned of the trials to come. God will not allow anything to come upon us unaware if you are living your life according to the leading of His Spirit. Those who kept their eyes fixed on God, and that which He has put before them to do, were warned of the trials that were to come against them--they could see them coming in the distance. Because of their obedience to what God has said, to keep our eyes fixed on Him and the things above, they were able to take the rock (trial) with their feet, pushing off of the rock and avoiding any possible injury. Though they felt the impact of the trial, no harm came against them and they were wiser for it.

To live is Christ and to die is gain. I know that many have chosen to be obedient unto death for the cause of Christ. In the times to come, many will be faced with the choice to either deny Christ or die for His name's sake. But we must remember that God's word is true for us. That for every trial God makes a way of escape. God is looking for those who have put on the mind of Christ, who have completely died to themselves and who can live everyday by the leading of His Spirit for His kingdom's cause. Do not let doubt or fear keep you from what God has for you. Our present sufferings cannot be compared to the glory that God will reveal to us if we are obedient to all that He has asked of us.
