Who Preaches An Other Christ?

When you read any of the New Testament do you read it with the understanding of those it was written to? To be sure it was written that we should be blessed, but what of our understanding? If you read any one's commentary, you receive their understanding, not God's. If you read a "bible" that has less than an accurate translation you receive that translations errors. How could we, all who have ever believed, be of one mind, one spirit? If we do not enter though the gate, the way ,the truth, and the life, we stumble in darkness, a cast away who did not believe or trust God. We can not enter by the will of man, though many try, we enter by the will of God, the path of God, by the Spirit of God.

Every apostle or disciple who wrote a gospel or an epistle (letter) knew the truth about "The Gospel or Good News". Jesus was and is who the Word proclaims Him to be. All the prophecies written have or will come to pass. The Comforter was given by God to lead you and I into all truth. The great division of Christianity is a product of the devil and wicked, prideful men lusting for power. If you were in a Book of Acts church would you be baptised in the Holy Spirit? Every one was (Acts 2:4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.). It is part of the way, the provision of God, to cause you to be able to stand before Him. The problem is that prideful men taught damnable heresies that have held the innocent captive in doubt and fear. (Better for them that they were never born.) But what of those deprived by the traditions of man? Come out and be separate and do not partake of the wrath to come, that is what the Spirit is saying. How can they do that? They need a preacher, because they have no ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. You won't make any friends with those whose boat you rock, but those who you lead out, and become wise virgins, will thank you.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed,..., work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Luke 7:35 wisdom is justified of all her children.

1 Corinthians 1:2 (edited) to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord 4I thank my God for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5That in every thing you are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ (Rev. 19:10 I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.) was confirmed in you: 7So that you come behind in no gift (Baptism of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, fruit of the Spirit); waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (at the end of tribulation): 8Who shall also confirm you (seal of God, earnest=down payment of the Holy Spirit) unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord (walking in the Spirit). 10all speak the same thing (there is only one true understanding of what is the way, the truth and the life), and that there be no divisions among you (different denominations, beliefs, teachings, foolish virgins); but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment (the mind of Christ, the Holy Spirit). 18For the preaching of the cross (salvation) is to them that perish foolishness (foolish virgins=no oil=no Holy Spirit=weeping, wailing & gnashing teeth); but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise (who is wise, what is wisdom, the Holy Spirit leads into all truth, wisdom is doing what is right), and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent (those who learn apart from the Holy Spirit, those who trust the teachings man, who believe what they want to believe). 20 has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world (are things done by the will of man that have no value to God or eternity)? 21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God (how about the church? which one is correct? who preaches the Holy Spirit not the same as in the book of Acts? faith works by love but all things are done by the Holy Spirit!), it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe (faith).22For the Jews require a sign (signs can be lying signs and wonders), and the Greeks seek after wisdom (the wisdom and approval of of the "educated" with "degrees"): 24 Christ (the Anointed One, the Anointing, the Oil, the Holy Spirit) the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25Because the foolishness of God (faith=righteousness) is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men (mans unbelief or denial). 26For you see your calling (calling= to walk in truth, the whole council of God, in the Holy Spirit), brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh (flesh wars with the Spirit), not many mighty (who trust in their own strength), not many noble (high place in finance, entertainment, business, government), are called: 27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world (faith in the unseen, invisible God, prophecy, miracles) to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world (little children, poor, weak, Godly) to confound the things which are mighty; 28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yes, and things which are not (walk on water, multiply food, creative miracles, etc..), to bring to nought things that are (power of man, government): 29That no flesh will glory in his presence. 30But by Him (will of God) are you in Christ Jesus, who (you) by God is made unto us wisdom (proven of children), and righteousness (works by faith), and sanctification (forgiven), and redemption (purchased by the blood, cursed is every man that hangs on a tree, greater love has no man that he lay down his life, loved us while we were yet sinners, one should die for all): 31 He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will (desire) is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Ephesians 1:12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 (1.)In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: (2.)in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Amen. Very true words, Dave.

I think it is pretty clear, "If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

There is no other way but through Him. None can come to Father unless they are drawn by the Spirit. Like you said, we may not make friends with those whose boat we rock, but if they are wise virgins then they will thank us for it.

I know many are called, but only few are chosen and I just pray that those who the Lord puts before us would be wise that the words God gives us to speak would set them free (rather than being a judgment against them). On the other hand, none can say that they didn't know.

God bless,
Ryan

Yes truly the Holy Spirit is the earnest of our inheritance, how precious to be able to have the opportunity to be a pleasing vessel unto the Most High God, to be able to bless Jesus with our obedience.
