Word 1/3/08

Can a tiger or a zebra forget their stripes? Does a leopard forget his spots? I tell you My people who are called by My name cannot remember who set them free. They fail to see the spot on their garment. They refuse to behold the mud on their feet from walking in this world. In their heart they say; "What the Lord has made clean let no man call unclean". Yet they (themselves) leave footprints in My house that others think acceptable. They refuse to cleanse My house. This ought not to be. They have hardened their heart. They no longer accept My cleansing. They have become accustomed to uncleanness, and love it so. They have forgotten the appearance of a white robe of righteousness. They compare themselves to others and become unwise.

The love of many has grown cold. The winter frost has spoiled their fruit. The snow and winds has stripped them of their leaves. They are barren, fruitless, with no benefit for their Master. They have no one to plead their cause. The animals shall eat their bark and tender branches. When the sun shines on them they will hold no moisture. They shall surely wither and die. Who of you will lend a hand? Who of you can see the desolation? Who of you will cover and protect them from the winds and the animals that eat of them, looking to fill their own belly, not considering the destruction they do?

I am revealed in the sum of My words.
I am measured by the sum of My words.
I am confirmed in My words.
The Holy Spirit reveals by My words.
The Holy Spirit squares and levels by My words.
The Holy Spirit takes of Mine and gives to you at My word.

Amen.

What the Spirit of God is saying is clear. It seems the time is so short and that many people are being given to their own lusts. This is why the Lord would have us to have nothing to do with the unclean things. We can never go back to the old man, for in doing so we become the dog returning to its vomit.

God give us wisdom. Give us understanding. Let our hearts be only toward You and let our ears be opened to hear Your words.

Amen. People have lost their first love and as you said, they compare themselves to men. They don't judge by the spirit of God, but by what other men do. In the word I posted last night, I said that men fear men that they have never met more than they fear God. They fear men's opinions more than God. It's horrible. They fear that they won't belong to the club. That they won't be excepted into people's circle of trust. I would rather be in God's circle. People have lost their first love and I pray for those that still have a remnant of truth left in them.
God bless, Chad
