Do All That It Takes

There is a day that comes quickly, a day of gross darkness that will cover the earth (the day cannot be mistaken for it will be a day as never before, when the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light). Only those who have chosen to live their daily lives as servants of God, out of love and respect (out of obedience) for who God is, will be able to be stayed in God's perfect peace. God offered it to all, but very few have chosen to change their lives in such a way that they could live a life that is pleasing to God. Many have caused themselves to be kept from the blessing and peace of God, loving this life unto death. That dark day comes quickly and only those who have made God their refuge will live.

It seems, as of late, the more that God is brought up in a conversation, the less people want to talk. This is the time when God will allow people be led away by their own lusts. If they love anything in this life more than they love God, they have chosen their reward. Living for God requires people to love obedience, love righteousness (being right before God). It requires a desire to want to please God more than anyone else, including themselves. Because of this, it seems, many have not and will not choose God over this temporal life. It is very sorrowful to consider how many people have been given the opportunity to hear the truth of God's word, the kingdom of God coming near unto them, and yet they still chose to live the lie.

The day of darkness is closer than it has ever been. Even the voice of the day of the Lord speaks (can you hear what the Spirit is speaking concerning this?). Do all that it takes to make sure that your garment is without spot, without wrinkle before God. Do all that it takes to make sure that the life you are living is holy and acceptable unto the Lord. He comes quickly. When He returns, will He find faith in you?

With love in Him,
Ryan

Good Ryan,
You wrote: When He returns, will He find faith in you?

Sometimes I am amazed at how few people have understanding. Faith comes by hearing, but who has ears to hear. God is more pleased with people who try to hear Him than the proud who sits back and judges, and will not enter in themselves. The stiffnecked and hardhearted have an appointment to keep with God as well as those who have humble and contrite spirits.

Lord, call your people out that they will not partake of what is to come.
