Understanding

Understanding

If we are seperate what makes us separate? Faith in Jesus Christ! But it is more than a confession of the lips it is a confession of the heart. God Know's are hearts and he cannot be decieved. No longer shall we walk in darkness but in light. We are seperate unto him, we are set apart from this world. We will walk in faith not by sight. We will speak his truth in love and righteousness. We will humble ourselves for those who humble themselves will be exalted and those who exalt themselves will be humbled. We will not be prideful or boastful. But rather we will exalt God and give him praise for he is worthy of all praise. No longer will we satisfy the sinful nature of the flesh. For it is sin and all sin is detestable in Gods eyes and it will not stand in his kingdom! We will strive to be perfect as Christ was perfect. We will love God with all our hearts, minds, and souls and love one another as ourself. For the entire law is summed up in these 2 commands!

For if you do all these things you will be seperate! For this we will be persecuted, insulted, and slandered. For no servant is greater than his master and no student is greater than his teacher. If they did it to Christ they will do it to us. But i will endure, for the reward that awaits us is far greater than anything this world can offer! Praise God for everything he is! He is glorious, righteous, just, faithful, merciful, and gracious. Praise God!

For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul!

Strange how the world works. Those who love you as themselves, who would go the ends of the earth with you if you love truth, these are hated by men. Yet those who lie, cheat, steal, and decieve are their best friends. Praise God that there is a people who will not be moved, who won't decieve themselves to please the world, and who will take hold of the promises and become the Sons and Daughters of the Most High.

Amen Trevor,
Solidly spoken.

Did you intend to say: For no servant is greater than his master and no teacher is greater than his student.

I think that you may want to reverse the teacher/student, as the Holy Spirit is our teacher, or should be. Not that we respect any man specifically, but we do respect those who are worthy according to truth. If you speak of natural man or in the flesh, it could be true as written because God formed us to be who we are. The man formed to be a teacher will receive his reward. The student (who cannot remain a student), will wait on his ministry and his ultimate reward.

Trevor you also said: This is what makes us separate! For this we will be persecuted, insulted, slandered, flogged, beaten, and or killed!

This may or may not be true. If you are found worthy to be part of this group: Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Come out and be separate in relation to a specific time takes on a different understanding. Pray you are found worthy to escape requires that you are separated.
