Where's Waldo? Where's Carmen San Diego? Where are You?

Revelation 3: 7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Okay, right up front, there is no pre-tribulation rapture, no free pass, no easy button. Many want to believe, but that won't make it so. Those who do believe the deception, if they live, will pay a heavy price in fear, doubt and temptation. They may be some of those whose heart will fail for fear. Certainly they will be among those who the Beast/Satan will make war with and prevail against.

I have always thought it strange that Jesus said; "I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Yet He also said; Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Of course the answer lies in; And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
As John tesified;I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The Word says; Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. The price to be paid for not being worthy, other than what is written above is for God to say; "Verily I say unto you, I know you not". All that is left is; "there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth". That said, where will those who are found worthy be during tribulation. We know Israel is instructed; When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. But what of us who are not in Israel, where will you be? This is just a compilation of the scriptural possibilities for you if you fit this; Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD. Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

Years ago I heard an account of something Dimitru Duduman said. He was riding in a car, driving from one speaking engagement to the next, to the next. Every time they would cross a river in a secluded area Dimitru would say, "What is the name of that river?". Again and again, "What is the name of that river?". Finally the driver asked why he wanted to know the names of the rivers. His response was simple, the Lord told him many people would find hidden safety in wooded areas by rivers.

Have you asked the Lord if you are worthy? If the Lord is going to keep you, have you ever asked God where He is going to keep you? Where you should go, if you should go? Should you prepare? Should you prepare a portion for those who have not? Once the Lord spoke this to me about preparing; that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

Some time ago Ryan received this scripture as a place of deliverance;
Judges 5:11 They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.

This is the scripture the Lord spoke to me about what to expect where; Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

The following are other places that are written. Listen for that still small voice, look for the peace, have ears to hear:

Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Isaiah 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. 4For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Psalm 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 20Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. 21Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Song of Solomon 2:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

The Lord showed me a vision of people protected in strong high tower that withstood great winds and attacks. At the same time other towers could not stand. An other vision of people gathered in a barn that was so full that the only way in was through the end wall peek. That barn was sealed by angels. Again, a vision of people in total peace and joy gathering berries in the woods, far away from the sound of battle. Towers are most likely symbolic. Being in a barn? Possible. In a more natural setting? Reasonable to expect. Yet, being kept from the hour of temptation could take many forms, God knows. But God showing you, personally, what is to come is a key in maintaining your peace by your mind being stayed on the Lord.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Amen, Dave.

Blesses me greatly. God. Loves (and I mean really loves) who he loves and hates who he hates. The world in the greatest afflictions it will ever face, while his children are at rest, in peace, in His pavilion.

Do you not rather believe the Word teaches that it is actually the saints of the most high that Satan will wear out, not the luke warm the wishy washy and the compromising, rather he wont have to bother with them because they will willingly take his/the beasts mark...Revelation 13:7.. and Revelation 20:4 the saints are beheaded for not taking the mark of the beast and in turn will rule and reign with Christ for 1 thousand years because they were willing to give their lives rather than take the mark of the beast???

Dave I felt i should clarify what I'm refering to of what you have written abov:
...Those who do believe the deception,... if they live, will pay a heavy price in fear, doubt and temptation. They may be some of those whose heart will fail for fear. Certainly they will be among those who the Beast/Satan will make war with and prevail against.

Do you not believe that it is the true saints of God not those who believe the deception that Satan will make war with and overcome...??

Helen,
And any who are interested, the answer is to large and important, and the scope to broad for just a comment answer. The short answer, and maybe thats all you wanted, is, a remnant will be saved. Perfect peace is for those whose minds are stayed on God, they will be hidden. Some of them will be martyred, they have a choice. The larger groups that will die are the luke warm, those who had a reputation for being alive and are actually dead, most of Smyrna, money lovers, and Jezebel churches. And it was given unto him to make war with those saints, and to overcome them. But he cannot hurt the oil and the wine. Oil being wise virgins, wine being those who go through the wine press of wrath and live.

While I do know and believe that God can keep his people through anything (DANIEL IN THE LIONS DEN/THE THREE HEBREW CHILDREN IN THE FIREY FURNACE/NOAH AND HIS FAMILY)at any time and at any point..the scripture does speak thus of those who do not love their lives unto death and who do refuse the mark and who are beheaded for their testimony of Jesus Christ, and the fact that it is they that will rule and reign with Jesus Christ for a thousand years. Granted all will not have to give their lives, because it also speaks of when the Lord returns "those that are alive and remain" will be caught up together (after the dead in Christ have been raised) with Him in the air...at the last trump and so shall they ever be with the Lord.

Revelation 20:4-6
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The Word is very clear here isn't it?
Howbeit we don't have to worry wether we be called upon to give our lives for Christ, or not, because He is able to keep us,wether in life or death. We like Stephen can see the heavens open for us at the point of our deaths, we can be anointed with Holy Ghost anesthesia...because God can do anything...Amen...all we have to do is be willing for what ever God appoints us to ..Amen ...oh and God Bless you Brother Dave for your patient endurance with my ramblings.

Thanks for sharing this, Dave.

It truly is such a beautiful thing to see what the Lord will do for those He loves. He will lead us beside still waters. He will deliver us from the noise of archers. Because His love for us is perfect, we can trust that He will do all that He has said He will do.

This is the hope that we have in Him. He is our salvation.

God bless,
Ryan
