I received this word on 3-9-08. It was a word for a brother, and those with ears to hear.
If you have the gift of the spirit, to dwell in, to take in every way you go, then why do you do anything but that? Why is there times when you do not even consider it. If there are others who are seeking truth (the gifts of the spirit) so they can receive God fully and you bearing that gift, and give no place for it to shine light and give understanding; your being a stumbling block and causing confusion in your house. Do not be weak to the flesh, for your responsibility is to the spirit, and the spirit only. Consider the spirit always, lest your forget what manner of man you are, what you are called to be.
It's important to stand to one manner, a manner of selflessness always diligently seeking after righteousness. Do not grow weary in well doing.
And scripture he gave me to confirm:
2 James 21-25
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

Amen Carmen,
Sometimes it seems difficult to speak a word of correction, for many reasons. It takes allot of God fearing confidence to do so as well. (I am blessed to see you growing in the Spirit and wisdom.) It seems that receiving that word by the intended hearer ought to be simple enough. The person giving a word in meekness doesn't want to offend, only encourage. The person who the word was intended for may be aware, working on it already. They could be resisting truth or so slow to move it’s difficult to see movement, in either direction. If they have a heart towards God though they will most likely already know the need. Your word will be a confirmation to them.
No matter what, we must know that we have acted by the Holy Spirit, without malice, so we will not enter condemnation. Those who are spiritual judge all things, but they themselves are not judged. We should have looked in our own eye to remove any obstructions to seeing clearly to help others. Our desire is perfection of the saints and pleasing God by being faithful.
The person for who the word was intended should realize truth as the Holy Spirit, himself, will bear witness to that truth; in fact, the word was from from God. They should receive the word with all humility and move in that direction immediately. Sort of like Peter, not my feet only, my hands and head as well. The fruit or lack of will be obvious. The hearer should not be offended or embarrassed as it was God who gave instruction. They should be grateful for the message and the messenger, if they are wise.
The giver should not be dismayed if they do not see fruit, it’s not their fault or responsibility. Some words are actually meant to speak against the hearer, like Jesus to the religious. Most of the time it will be meant for instruction, edification, encouragement, direction or exhortation.
Wisdom is always proven of her children.
Thank you Lord, and well done Carmen.
