Strength in numbers

The Holy Spirit led me to sit with Jen during prayer on Thursday. I asked Him why, if I should pray for her and if so, what for? He said to just go and simply sit with her. Sometimes you don't always know until you become obedient. I've learned this is apart of His will at times.
She said later she was comforted by just sitting there together. We are never alone because we have God. But It's nice to know a friend is there with you too, trial or not. As we were praying there together, the Holy spirit led Tara to come and pray for us. I could hear she was praying for a dear friend of ours, confidence to speak, clarity on our paths and strength for our friendship. Then the Lord told me "There are strength in numbers" which led me to ask Tara to sit with us too, something the three of us hadn't done before. When she sat down, I heard the Holy Spirit say "The bonds of Christ between you cannot be broken" and that we were "Brought together for this time". I started to have understanding, that it wasn't just about the three of us sitting there, but how we should consider all of our brethren. We may not be around all the time, around each and every person, but we all are connected despite distance or schedule by He Himself.
We are to love each other in spirit and in truth. In equality and never lifting another above ourselves. Not forsaking the assembling of together because it gives us strength. The Lord alone is our strength and our covering. We will all stand alone before Him. But those with ears to hear AND to those who do His will, will speak His words edifying one another. Thus bring strength as we each stand alone (wether it be correction, comfort or wisdom...).
Also by His perfect example, He teaches us how to truly love. He said to me once and reminded me of it again on Thursday that we should love as He does: Impartially, selflessly, patiently, truthfully, kindly and without fail.
I find it amazing that through revealing Himself and revealing another persons heart, He opens our very own to love that person that much more. The understanding strengthens bonds, and unexpectedly, strengthens ourselves in Him.
The fellowship of one spirit, one mind, one love, is unbreakable. As He is unbreakable.
The Lord brought to mind Ecclesiastes, but Tara brought it back to mind later on, Praise God:

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

10 If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!

12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Thank you Lord...

Love in Christ,
Sister Carmen
