Good word. Thanks. If people have a heart towards God and ears to hear, they would recognize the Spirit of truth. For those whose hearts are hard and cannot hear, that scripture reveals exactly why they cannot.
Sometimes those who can hear do get weary with those who cannot or will not hear. You just want to write them off. It seems so simple and easy once you die to yourself, your thoughts, your imagination, your fears. Some people have no barriers and flow freely. Many have a difficult time because they hold on to tightly to what they have learned by mans will. Some can flow but need to restrain themselves because they flow too easily and speak by the flesh. But all can learn and be corrected if their heart is right toward God.
When I was converted (I believed on Jesus long before) I put my trust in God completely. His word was true, but all that is written is only to lead us to His Holy Spirit. Life in the Spirit only begins when we bear fruit, that fruit is the Holy Spirit. Hearing only comes by the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is worth fighting for. Fight logic, fight traditions, fight family, fight your denominations, fight your own flesh and soul, because it's the only way to come to all truth.
In the times ahead, only those with ears to hear will be able to know and do God's will.
