The Balance of Faith

Q: What is faith?

A: Faith is believing God, which is accounted to you as righteousness. Not just knowing. Not partial believing. It is believing every word relying on God for the understanding. Faith pleases God, there is no pleasing Him without it; therefore our faith is pleasure to God. It’s not the knowing Gods’ word that accounts to us for anything it the believing to the point of acting. Faith is the credible evidence within you that motives you to pursue the Way, the Truth and the Life (in the Holy Spirit) without regard for mans help or approval.

This is not meant to preach to the choir, but to show how to join the choir, the Kingdom of God Worship in Spirit and in Truth Choir. We at ESC, are by the will of God, intended to point the way to the truth. Jesus is Truth. The Holy Spirit leads into all Truth, all that Jesus was and is, that we might have Life in Him. It is what we are called to do; that is, pointing out truth for Gods’ glory, not our own. Truth, that some may come to the knowledge through understanding of what has been before their eyes but not seen, of what they have listened to but not heard (in some cases, most of their life). We don’t care what church you attend or where your money goes. We would rather people go elsewhere than to interfere with the unity of the Spirit (There is only one Spirit, if we donot agree, we are not of the same spirit). But the Holy Spirit cries out; Come out of, be Holy, be perfect, do not partake of the wrath to come on the whole earth. If the love of truth is within you, when you hear truth, you will know it by faith; because the Holy Spirit will bear witness of truth. The accumulated wisdom of man is foolishness to God, indeed it keeps man from the wisdom of Truth that the Holy Spirit alone can give. That is, if you can ask and have faith to receive and believe. Believe that God is who He said He was and would do what He said He would do (If we ask according to His will).

The “balance” of faith is where, what you believe, takes you, alters your life. As in, wisdom being proven of her children; your faith brings results into your life, now and to come. The wise and foolish virgins of Matthew 25 all knew the scriptures. The wise virgins coupled faith with their knowledge of the Words of God forming belief to be converted, to being renewed, transformed into the Mind Of Christ by the Holy Spirit. Believing what the Holy Spirit spoke in their ear allowing them to acquire the oil for their lamps, the Temple of the Holy Spirit. This is the generation that will not pass away till the return of the Lord. When Jesus returns will He find faith? Faith, that pleases Him? Only if you are found worthy to escape the wrath to come by being full of the Oil of Gladness, the Holy Spirit, will you please Him, then He will find faith at His return. Fore you were found doing the Masters will, not a hearer of the word only, but a doer of the word, by faith, pleasing God. Then you will hear the voice of the Master say, “Well done My good and faithful servant”.

Galatians 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit (Faith required here, because you would be looking for what the Spirit is saying NOW!), and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith (there is a difference between being aware of and believing, thinking and knowing, being static and acting on what you believe equalling faith), the same are the children of Abraham.

1 Corinthians 14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord (Can you hear?).

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (Not Dake, Matthew Henry, Scholfield, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Oral Roberts, Charles Stanley, Copeland or any man)

Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? 43Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 44Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. 45But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; (fellowship with the world, unbelief, doing what they want, not Gods’ will) 46The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him (no ears to hear, no Baptism of the Holy Spirit to light the way to announce His return), and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes (this is in context of being with the unbelievers, greater damnation upon him, he is in Gods' eyes the blind leading the blind). 48But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes (still, an unbeliever, a cast away, weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth await for their unbelief). For unto whomsoever much is given (the Truth, the Holy Spirit), of him shall be much required (walk in the Spirit): and to whom men have committed much (followers of a man, not God by the Holy Spirit) of him they will ask the more (give us of your oil, if he has it). 49I am come to send fire on the earth (division and judgment, fire to fan the smoldering wick to a hot fire or blow it out, fire to burn the chaff that surrounds the wheat that is good for nothing); and what will I, if it be already kindled (the day of judgment was in His heart thousands of years ago, already kindled, the day of wrath in His heart)? 50But I have a baptism to be baptized with (do you want it? The deposit of a portion of God our Father Himself); and how am I straitened till it be accomplished (the days of a wink or a nod allowing men to enter His presence end when the dispesation of grace ends when He who hinders will let. Straight is the way, narrow is the path, find it, even so come quickly Lord Jesus)!

Luke 11: 9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Ask nothing wavering, believing you will receive). 10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Romans 3:4...yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Amen. It's faith that pleases God. Everything else has imperfections. If God is perfect, and we are doing the will of an imperfect law...where is our reward? With men, which is as the wind and grass and passes away? Spirit leading faith is what He desires, and it's How we do His will. Which...what other way is there?
Lord, make our hearts and faith be made pure and perfect.

Thank you Lord

Love in Christ.

True words, Dave.

Without it, there is no pleasing God. Period.

This is the very reason why those who believe Jesus and everything that He said, without seeing, are blessed already. But those who say that they believe Him and do not hold themselves to the same standard that they hold those written of/spoken about in the Bible will not please God. They do not even believe that they can be like those written of, let alone like our Lord (as it is written that we should be).

Dark days come and only those who will have faith to believe God's word will be able to shine as a light.

God be with us,
Ryan
