Healed Their Sick

The night before church, during fellowship at my house, a brother asked us to pray for him because he had a headache and felt the Lord wanted him to ask for prayer. A few of us laid hands on him, speaking against this pain, and the headache went away. We thanked God for His faithfulness.

While at church yesterday, I was considering the Lord and was very stirred regarding healing, remembering what the Lord had spoken to me the night before about not reasoning with sickness, pain, or deliverance. We need not reason with infirmities and devils, we speak the word and they must flee. As I prayed and was putting these things before Him, the Lord confirmed to me that the same will we do, if we believe. I asked Him to confirm it in His word and He told me "Matthew 14." He then spoke a word to me:

Matthew 14:14
14And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Word
Do you think that you should do any less than I did when I walked the earth? Do you have faith to believe My words, that greater things would you do if you believe? You must have wisdom and understanding in all things, but know this: I have not left you powerless. Let nothing keep you from performing My words even as My Spirit leads you. If you put on humility and walk as a humble servant, will I not lift you up? Will I not show Myself strong through you? Is it not written that even in your weakness I am strong? Who will hear it and believe Me this day? Who will hear My words and walk in faith, not allowing yourself to be the same as you were before? I tell you, have faith. Lay hands on the sick that they would recover. Speak liberty to the captives that they would no longer be in bondage to the flesh. Feed the weak that they would be made strong and rejoice in Me. All these things I have done, even to you, and the same do I require of you, and more. For you have been given the baptism of My Spirit that you may be led into all truth. Do not allow yourself to be satisfied with the words of men but seek My face. I am not hidden from those who are meek and lowly, those who love truth. I am not hidden from you. Come and enter in that you may find rest in Me and that I may write My words upon your heart.

With love in Jesus,
Ryan

Amen Ryan,
With all the words the Lord spoke by the Holy Spirit Sunday, one confirming another, one would have to deny the Holy Spirit or think wickedly of us to believe that God has changed since the book of Acts. Those of ESC who haven't blogged yet please do so. I would think that even the most skeptical would have a difficult time explaining away all the Holy Spirit said. It is so refreshing and encouraging, I wonder how so many people lack faith and understanding.

Amen Ryan,
I pray that these words will be added to me, so that I will not be satisfied with glimpses of God. I pray that I would desire nothing less than to see God face to face, and love Him for who He IS.
God Bless,
Tara

Amen. I too pray this be added to me, and that I don't fall into the "hearer not doer" category.
