Who do we serve?

I have called. Have you chosen? Do you choose each and every day? Do you take every thought captive? Do you follow silently after me and allow me to teach you as I would? Put away all structure, all ideas, all carnal teachings which profits you nothing. Believe and enter in. Hold fast to my promises. Hold fast to truth. Write my promises upon your heart and believe. Who will sell all that they have and follow after me? Who's heart is set on me? Who will believe and inherit the promises? Who will love truth and hearken unto my voice and believe that I speak, and that you are capable of hearing?

Then the Lord asked:
How should a man walk? Is it by thinking? Is it by feeling?
No, its by hearing and following the voice of their father, with faith, believing that indeed it is the voice of their father.

Vision
It was a long and narrow path surrounded by tall bushes with a light at the end of the path. When the lord asked that question above (How should a man walk?) and then asked is it by thinking, I seen a man that tried to get to the end of the tunnel by using his brain/intelligence and he was focusing very hard on walking, and before he knew it he walked right off the path of God and was headed in another direction. When the lord asked if it was by feeling, I seen a man that would move fast for a very short period and then stop, then go and stop, and he didn't get very far at all because he moved only by emotion. Then when God said that a man should walk by hearing the voice of the father, I got the understanding of a man that could close his eyes and walk the path straightly by listening to God calling him at the end of the path.

It is so important to know and be led by the holy spirit(voice of God). Without it we can't do much at all for God. Salvation is a necessity and is a good thing, but it is better to move on to full age and to be able to discern, receive, and give strong meat.

Then the lord stirred me to read Hebrews 5 and 6. God is calling us to perfection. He does not want us to be muddled up with dirty water, but to be a pure people. A people that is acceptable in his site. He is building up a people that want to know him and serve him with all their life. We need to give up everything. Sell all that we have and follow Jesus. (Understanding is to let go of everything) We are nothing, and God is everything. God wants us to put down "religion"(in the way the world is religious today) and take up freedom in his spirit. When we are obedient to the spirit, we fulfill the law. There is liberty and peace in God's spirit and we have to let go of all that we know and believe his promises and enter in. It's here for everyone.

Hebrews 5

1For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
2Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
3And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
4And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
5So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec
11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6

1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3And this will we do, if God permit.
4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned
9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
17Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;20Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

God bless, Chad

Amen, brother.

The words that you have written are clearly of our Father in heaven for they bare witness in truth.

The vision/understanding that you had was very clear and easily entreated. Those who try to serve God in their own strength, according to their own understanding will never please God because they do not walk by faith (without faith there is no pleasing God). Those who walk in obedience to all that God speaks, living by every word that proceeds out of His mouth, will stand before Him in the end.

May the Lord continue to strengthen us and may we all have ears to hear what His Spirit is speaking.

God bless,
Ryan

Amen Chad,
It is so sad that people accept the approval of their pastor or priest not believing or perhaps knowing that they can have access to the Father Himself by the Holy Spirit. People measure themselves by themselves setting the standard for Godliness at a carnal level. Man teaches that their way is the right or only way totally discounting Gods' ability to instruct in the ways of righteousness and faith. They think that anointing is great swelling words or rapid heavy double clutch breathing exchanging emotion for the witness of the Holy Spirit, unable discern the difference. Life is in the Spirit, not just saying it or taking someone’s word for it, it's knowing it. Life is in talking to God and hearing His response, it's your spirit being alive and the proof is the Holy Spirit dwells in you being, and doing what He brings, that very proof.
