Word 5/21/08

Woe to them who cannot tell bitter from sweet water. They have not refined their senses. They accept water from a well that brings death. The Spirit of truth is not their source. Nor can they tell good from evil. (For) Poison in mixed wine is undetectable to the pallet of a man, (or) in who they trust. As surely as the sun rises in the east, death will come to them who drink of the wine of the great whore, till her time has come and the Son of God is the light of the earth. None will escape. For they love the drunkenness of power more than the love of truth. They ride on the back of the dragon, doing the work of their master.

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

2 Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Amen,
Truly religious men love the power and control that religion gives them over themselves and others, because their faith lies in themselves and their own ability to rule and study and lead. They do not walk in faith towards God, and surely, God takes no pleasure in the blood of animals or any other dead works of man, but He does delight in the faithful, sincere man.

True words, Dave.

We must discern between good and evil. Though the Christian world throws out the scripture "judge not unless you be judged" constantly, many lack understanding and ears to hear by the Spirit.

We must judge all things by the Spirit and measure it against the word of God.

God be with us all and give us wisdom to know the beginning from the end.

God bless,
Ryan
