Who shall smite (strike) My flock that they (the flock) would scatter? Receive the former Reign (of God in the earth). Receive the shield of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The meek (those who humble themselves to the truth) will inherit the earth. I go before you. I shall level the mountains and fill the valleys. Where your foot shall tread, I am there. Where you lay your head, I am there. I put My Spirit of Truth and Righteousness upon you, wear the mantle of the “Former and Latter” (authority/power).
Comment: The "Tribulation" period, the time of the "Former and Latter" rain, will be unlike any other time before or will be again. Only those who are "worthy" will be delivered. You become worthy by having faith in the truth equating to oil in the lamp, having ears to hear, being full of the Holy Spirit in truth. Those who trust in their own understanding could never receive a word like this for it is not clearly written in the Bible. But the Holy Spirit takes from Jesus and shows us things to come. Then, who can understand walking in their own righteousness?

Praise God, He is so powerful and good. Yet, it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

I know that these are strong words, but they are what the Spirit is saying for those who will hear it.
