Word & Scripture 6/8/08

Turn off the music/radio (all external stimulation and mindful influence). Hear the music of the joy of your soul. Let yourself hear the sounds of heaven. Be encouraged by the sounds of many rivers of voices, the streams of joy. Eye has not seen nor ear heard, yet it is revealed to those who enter in by faith. Your joy of the Lord is your strength, look to Me. See the goodness that this world cannot offer. Look to the end of your faith, take your place. Be full of the Holy Spirit, the oil of gladness.

Send Judah (praise) first! Keep your mind on Me, watch at the window of your soul.

(Jesus is) Not a baby, not on the cross, but seated at the right hand of the Father, with all power, soon to be revealed in truth. Eternal shame (will be) upon all unbelievers.

Where would you go to worship? What place is Holy? Where do I (does God) dwell? (In temples made of flesh) Be Holy, be perfect, walk in the Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 4
1….We beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more. 2For you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. 3For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication (of every type, spiritually and physically): 4That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor; 5Not in the lust of concupiscence (The original nature of man was an innate tendency to good, not knowing evil; the special relationship Adam and Eve enjoyed with God was due not to some supernatural gift, but to their own created natures. Hence, in the Protestant view, the fall was not the destruction of a supernatural gift, leaving humanity's nature to work unimpeded, but rather the corruption of that nature itself, the death of the spirit of man including the ability to be in God presence. Since the present nature of unregenerated man is corrupted from their original nature, it follows that it is not good, but rather evil. Thus, in the Protestant view, concupiscence is evil in itself. Therefore once “Born Again” to dabble or be involved with the old nature is abhorrent, tempting God, being the equal to sin.) , even as the Gentiles which know not God: 6That no man go beyond and defraud (lie, cheat, steal, deceive, confuse) his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 8He therefore that despises (truth, and those who speak it), despises not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his Holy Spirit (Who reveals all truth to those who are in the Spirit). 9But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another. 10And indeed you do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more; 11And that you study (learn) to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; 12That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing (Ruling over your flesh). 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope….. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (If we actually do what was written above). 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Amen Dave,
Send Judah first (Judges 1) I pray that our praise and love of God always precedes us into battle so that we might be made more than overcomers through the stength and joy of Jesus Christ.
God Bless,
Tara

Amen, D.

We must be full of the Holy Spirit. There is nothing that can be compared, nor words that can express the expedience of being instantly in season and walking in the fullness of who God has called us to be.

But we must remember that it is not by might, nor by power but by His Spirit alone.

God be with us,
Ryan
