The Lord spoke this to me while at church yesterday:
Let the living waters flow freely out of you My people. For only those who have chosen to love truth and have settled it in their hearts that I alone and the way, the truth and the life can be filled to overflowing. It is to you who I speak saying let the rivers of living water flow out of your bellies that all who hear may see and know that I am God. And that I have not left My people powerless.
Behold, even as I speak to you now I say write and hold not back these words: As the day of darkness draws near, I tell you many will turn against you and speak great swelling words that they may justify their own sin. But I tell you, be not dismayed and let no man take your peace for I the Lord have spoken to you saying this day will come quickly. Judge ever man according to the truth that My Spirit reveals to you, for in doing this you become wise and do see their end even from the beginning. In obedience to My Spirit (doing My will) you will know how to answer every man.
During our time of fellowship at my house the night before, the Lord gave me a vision and an understanding. Although I did not write it down, the Lord brought it to remembrance during church and gave me more understanding:
From the top, I saw a very steep, rocky path that led down the side of a mountain. Looking down, I could see that the path was a very difficult one to climb (large, jagged rocks sticking out everywhere) and it seemed to be hidden from most (large overhangs and rock formations stretched over the path). It was also difficult to see all the way down to the bottom of the mountain. As I was overlooking the path, it was clear to me that without some type of support or help (God leading us by His Spirit), it was impossible to climb. I also understood that it represented the path of righteousness that God had set before us. He had brought us through so much and it was easy to spend a long time looking back at what He has taken us out of and through. The Lord then spoke to me saying: Great is the fall. Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Many have fallen because they were not planted on the Rock (Jesus, truth) and their foot did slip. I tell you, stand on that which is sure and trust that I alone am able to keep you from falling, to keep your foot from slipping. Let the cares of this life and the thoughts of the past (who you were) go for you are mine and none can pluck you from My hand. I am able (to keep you from falling, to bring you unto perfection, to write My words upon your heart, to heal the wounds that were passed down, to provide your every need even before you ask--why ask anything for yourself, to be your best friend and teach you all things by My Spirit). Are you willing (to let Me take you unto perfection, to give no thought to the words of men, to be not easily offended, to love Me with all that you are even until the end)?
Love in Him,
Ryan

Amen Ryan.
True. The vision, while seemingly perilous, is meant to seperate the fearful from the faithful. It is part of the winnowing process. Actually the yoke is easy and the burden is light, not more than we are able to bear. Though, if we are not commited and cannot see the end of our faith we are blind to truth, the hidden path, which brings fear and doubt. Fear and doubt make the path seem impossible to climb. God has made a way. It is hidden from view to keep the proud and unbelieving from seeing it. It's called faith, the "Way of Holiness". Possessing our souls patiently, in Spirit and in all truth. Waiting on God so that we will run and not be weary, walk and faint.
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 18:33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
Psalm 91:12 They (angels) shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Isaiah 40:3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
Isaiah 45:3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
God is amazing. All things are possible with Him, who or what should we fear? That is, if we walk uprightly before Him, doing His will, full of the Holy Spirit in truth.
