A Sense of Urgency

Ryan and I were chatting yesterday morning. He said that he was feeling a sense of urgency and stirred to pray for what I would term, “marginal Christians”, so that they would come into the fullness of the Holy Spirit in truth. A Godly heartfelt desire to be sure. In considering what was on my heart, waiting on God, I felt urged to write this. God is truth. God’s words are true and truth. Because He spoke them, He will honor and perform them, by His Spirit. God judges the heart of man as to know if they seek His will or their own lusts. He considers if they believe truth, in faith, or if they are double minded. God knows if they have resisted Him in the past and only call on Him in calamity, or if they believe and trust Him completely. The Father knows if they love truth, or if they hold to the lies and sins of their fathers pride. The actual truth, or reality of their heart makes the outcome of their prayers inconsistent with God's will. God does make it to rain, or give blessings, on the just and the unjust. Further, He is long suffering that all could be saved. On the other hand, God will not be mocked, if a man sows truth in his life, he will reap in truth. If he sows in unbelief, the flesh or perversion of truth, he will reap what he has sown into, eternally.

It renders down to this; partial truth is not all truth that the Holy Spirit leads into. Wanting a religious preacher or teacher to say you’re “fine” or seeking the approval of a man does not mean you are. Worshipping God in Spirit and in truth is different than a praising God pep rally exciting the team spirit, lasciviousness, just like the world. Being obedient to the Holy Spirit is different than sacrifice and works. There is one truth, God’s truth. No man enters heaven because of a denomination, or a man, or what he believes apart from truth. We love God because He loved us first. Our duty is to seek, knock and find truth. To love truth with all our heart. To hold fast to truth patiently waiting for God’s will to be done in the earth. Not all men that do “miracles” are from God, or does He even know them. Not all men who say they are Christians, are, in fact. Very few people who say “Jesus is Lord” actually know His Holy Spirit, who is suppose to lead them, in truth, in reality, by hearing His voice. Most people who say that the can hear the Holy Spirit are not believed or trusted. Some who say they can hear the Holy Spirit are actually listening to other spirits, devils, as well.

God is not divided or confused, man is. Man is confused because of not believing that God can and will do what He said. Man is confused by not believing every written word, which reveals that salvation gives opportunity to be filled with the Holy Spirit, the “Promise” of the Father, written in the Old Testament. That opportunity is, “The power to become Sons and daughters, by doing God’s will, being filled with His Holy Spirit. (This truth is well beyond sin nature and baptisms, it is living a life that pleases God.) Man is confused by relying on his own intellect rather than being able to hear truth by the Holy Spirit. Man is confused by false doctrines, which are stumbling blocks. Often, when error is pointed out, the one who holds to a false doctrine becomes offended, because he loves the lie, he or she is comfortable in their deception. There is one Holy Spirit of God, sent by Jesus. That one and only Spirit of God is the same throughout the whole world. He alone is able to reveal truth to man, you actually have need of no other teacher once you believe and can hear. Any teaching, of a man, that is not 100% true has a portion of death in it, because it is a lie, it cannot stand before God. Most men are not wise enough to remove themselves from things that will kill them, look at the letters in Revelation to the seven churches. They love the lie more than truth, they have left their first love or never loved truth in reality. Most men think that they will be just fine standing before the living God, counting on the mercy of God, rather than knowing truth, unwise!

If you believed that the tribulation period was about to start and there was no pre-tribulation rapture, wouldn’t it make sense to die to ones self that Christ, the Anointing, the Holy Spirit could live in you and direct your life? Well it is true. A time like has never been before, or will be again, is at the door. A time so stressful that men’s hearts will fail for fear. A time when God Himself will send delusion on man to believe lies. We must die to ourself, bury what we believe apart from truth, so that we may be found worthy to escape the wrath to come. So that we may accept deliverance by our faith. We must die to the natural mans way of thinking that the "Mind of Christ" be in us. We must die to what would make sense to the way of the world so that we "live by faith". God’s way, truth and life, is faith in His promise. It is about believing God and His words, not always understanding everything (though that will come, if we believe). It’s faith that pleases God, trusting all His counsel. Taking every word of God as though your life depended on it, which, by the way, it does. Faith says, “In the beginning, God”. It’s all about God, His will, His truth, Life in His Spirit, not at all by any wisdom man has to offer. Faith in God is trusting all that He says, not a select portion, which is double minded. Being double minded is a little of both faith and the world, you don’t please God or yourself, trying to serve two masters. Being carnal or earthly minded is more what we can see and touch, not trusting in the unseen, what God can or will do, the end of which is eternal separation from the love of God. Being earthly minded keeps us from entering the truth of faith, "Life in the Spirit".

Now, today, is the last “time” before He who hinders, or holds back evil, will let or allow it to come. Now is the time that the Holy Spirit cries out the message of, “Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness? What fellowship does Christ have with the devil? What part does he that believes have with an infidel? What agreement does the temple of God have with idols? You are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore, come out from among the unbelievers, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty”. Also the Spirit is saying, “Know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”. Again the Spirit says, “Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities”. It is in the same spirit or essence of the message that John the Baptist preached. It is the message of truth that Jesus revealed, wheat and weeds have all grown together. When Jesus returns, he is hoping to find truth and faith in us who remain.

The “Gospel” or “Good News” is only “good” to the doers of God’s will. It is judgment to the doubtful, fearful and unbelieving. No man will stand before God and say, “I didn’t know”. Our whole duty is to find truth, God is truth, His ways are in truth. Life in the Spirit is not about looking Holy, it is about being Holy by God’s measure, in His HolySpirit and in Truth. God’s heart is that all would be saved, but it is up to us to find truth. If we come up to truth and do not recognize it, it is our unbelief that holds us back. Jesus came so that we could be restored to “Life in the Spirit” as Adam and Eve walk in before the fall of man. Jesus came to pay the price of sin so we could know truth in our hearts (the reverse of eating the forbiddeen fruit), not just our head, not in word only. Jesus came and gave us a way, in truth; “Life in God’s Spirit”, even though few there be that find it. Many talk about truth, but it cannot be found apart from faith. Many desire to “Walk in the Spirit” but it cannot be done with earthly understanding. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death, free to worship in Spirit and in truth. The servant abides not in the house for ever, but a son or daughter abides forever, make your calling and election sure. It takes you stepping out in faith and in truth to please the Father by believing what Jesus said; "When the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:", "I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.", "When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come".

Isaiah 28:11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

John 8:31.... If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; 32And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, You shall be made free? 34Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin. 35And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever. 36If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
