No Rest for the Wicked: Word 9/4/2008

There will be no rest for the wicked. This nation will have no rest for her heart has turned from Me. Storm upon storm will ravage her lands and fire will engulf her. I have called to her yet she would not listen, and now her sins have increased. Men can no longer discern what is right, and wisdom has left her all together. For this she will have trouble on all sides and peace will leave her borders. A wicked and perverse generation is in her midst, sin upon sin, abomination upon abomination. I am no longer with this nation, but I am with you My people. Be not surprised by the destruction that is shortly to come to pass, for I will no longer endure her sin. Wickedness has taken to the streets. What was once done in darkness is now paraded in broad daylight. They love the darkness. They love to speak of those things which should not be spoken of. This is their condemnation. Be not afraid My people. I have called you out and separated you. I have set you as a city on a hill, lights in the darkness. (At this point I saw a vision of a little white church set up on a hill. It was night all around, but the church was lit inside, and the light was shining through the windows into the darkness.) Continue in the way that I have shown you and you will not fail. Keep your peace and be immovable when the storms blow. Men will marvel at your patience and steadiness, for you will be as the virgins who filled their lamps with oil. The winds of judgment will not move you. You will walk through the fire and not be burned. Fear nothing, for who can harm you? Who can prevail against Me? Am I not God? Can I not preserve what is Mine? Remember who I am My people. Rest in My peace, and watch Me prepare a table even in the presence of your enemies.

I pray that we all push past persecution, anxiety, boredom and fear and commit all our ways to the Lord, knowing that He will establish and keep us in these troubled times.

Love in Christ,
Tara

A true word by the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. 3The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet: 4And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up. 5In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, 6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. 7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. 9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
