Word 8/30/08

I, the Lord will out pace the tall (The important in the eyes of men and self important). I the Lord will leave them in My wake/path, those who have exalted themselves, those who have taken the reward of man, the honor that is Mine. Do not be dismayed, do not be surprised; for I have told you before time that the mighty will fall, the humble will be lifted up, they will shine as the sun. Those on who My Spirit rests will know as they are known to Me. Be steadfast, be unshakable, be victorious in Me, by My Spirit. (Any other way is a thief and a robber, the tall.)

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

Understanding: Be a fool for Christ/the Anointed. Be peculiar, trust the still, small voice, the Holy Spirit, that you may know and do the will of God. How long can you stand (be fore God and in the times to come) between two opinions? If the Holy Spirit is the way (and He is), commit your ways, count all else loss. Without faith, there is no pleasing God.

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
