Word 9/21/08 Wait on God. Period!

Do not look to the world for truth, do not look to the world for a way. The “cure” of the world may take the discomfort (carnal mindedly speaking), but the end will be the death of faith. I tell you wait on Me. You say I am dry, I am in pain, I am dead (emotionally speaking) for sorrow. I say to you wait on Me, for I will renew your strength. I am your healer, I am your deliverer and you will reap if you do not faint and accept compromise. You say, I am weary, my heart is sick for (because of) delay. I tell you wait on Me, for in your patience your hope becomes faith when you reap. Your joy becomes a new found strength, your weariness becomes a memory of the battle, but the victory will out weight the time of trial. How long did Joseph suffer wrong? How long did Daniel suffer captivity? How long did Job suffer the depth of despair and pain? Wait on Me, for though weeping endures for a night, for a season, joy of the light (understanding, that comes in the morning), the birth (the wisdom that is proven of her children, results) out weight the misery of bewilderment, confusion and doubt.

Who will I turn My back on who wait on Me, in Spirit and in truth? Though you may loose a battle, the war is in My hand. Victory is in My hand in this life. Joy is for My people in this life and eternity. Wait on Me. Wait on My shadow, My wing, My deliverance. I was acquainted sorrow, I was acquainted with heaviness of spirit, but I say to you rejoice for sweet is the victory to those who wait to overcome. You have not endured unto death. Nor were you asked to, but the lesson of faith is in the waiting, trusting and finding peace in your trial. The wounds received while in My house are grievous and painful. I tell you I know, I knew, yet will you trust Me in this? Understanding comes in the morning, the morning of the day of your victory, your reaping, your joy. Joy, the strength of your robe, (and) your crown.

Nehemiah 8:10….. for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. (James 1:25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. 24Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock...)

Galatians 6:9…let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (1 Corinthians 10:13 There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.)

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.)

James 4:5 Do you think that the scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy? 6But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God… (Psalm 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.)

Amen, Dave.

Though we are all being forced to make decisions, choosing who we will serve every day, the Lord knew our end from the beginning.

If we have settled it in our heart that we will never turn away from truth, that the Lord alone has the words to eternal life, than all we can do is wait for Him to open the door before us.

God bless,
Ryan

Amen. This word resonates. The worldly cure surely does kill our faith, and being without faith surely does kill our souls. I pray that through our tribulations, our trials of patience, as our hearts are put through the flames of refinement, that we keep this scripture written upon our tablets.
Romans 5:4-5
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

He renews us when we feel dry and weary. It comes by faith. And we can't let faith slip away, because our feelings seem more real, more impatient. Feelings fade and change, but God's words never have and never will. That is the rock we can stand on.
"The lesson of faith is in the waiting, trusting and finding peace in the trial." This is huge. Can we hold His peace in the midst of any trial? While many are failing and falling? Can we make it apart of ourselves, our hearts guarded from any theif? Even from those who are near and close? I know I have these very things to commit to God.

Waiting and trusting is hard (it's just not what we're used too!) but finding peace to make it easy, is more than accessible. It's up to us to take ahold of it and not let it go. It's not the perspective the world teaches, it's not what we've been engrained to view things as. It often feels 'against the grain', a discomfort of changing those entangled and circling ways of thinking. But what we see does in fact fade, and we can not deny this. It's what we don't see, is what is eternal. It's a lesson of faith, getting to know Him, and the building up of ourselves, for others. So we may live.

Thank you for the blessings
