09/10/08 "Don't hide the Light"

John 8
12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Matthew 5
14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The Lord said:-

"I am the Light of the world he that follows after Me shall not live in the darkness. Many are in the darkness, but why do them that call Me their Lord be apart of them that are in darkness? The Light of truth has escaped them them. You My servant do not hide the Light. Let it shine, for in such a time as this how can you hide it? I will give you boldness but be obedient to what I give. The wise are well in My sight but woe to the foolish their lamps go out they will fall and scramble, their eyes will wander too and fro, moving here and there going nowhere for they are in the darkness and do not have the Light to light the way. Therefore My servant hide not the light of truth from them I put before you, and them that hear let Me have My perfect work that they can be counted among the wise."

32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free.

Matthew 10
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Matthew 25
1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Please pray for me to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and help as many as the Lord wills to fill their lamps with Oil.
