Maybe This Will Help, If You Want Help!

Yesterday while praying in the Spirit the Lord brought this understanding, or way of explanation to mind.

This is the scripture the Lord used: Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

weaned: 1: to accustom (as a young child or animal) to take food otherwise than by nursing 2: to detach from a source of dependence, to free from a usually unwholesome habit or interest 3: to accustom to something from an early age

line: a: a course of conduct, action, or thought; especially: an official or public position b: a field of activity or interest c: a glib often persuasive way of talking, d: the course or direction of something in motion, e: a state of order, control, or obedience f: a boundary of an area

precept: a command or principle intended especially as a general rule of action

stammering lips, another tongue, the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; the refreshing: Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the evidence of things not seen. One is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: signs shall follow…them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not:, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high.

fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken: The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The Ten Commandments are laws. There are many laws. They are the basis that God honors and builds upon, the plumb line of His judgments, it is how we know sin. Laws are the lines, lines that we don’t cross, our limit and bounds. Law upon law, one building upon an other gives us the frame work that we live in. Laws are like building blocks or essentials of learning as the A B C’s or math, 1+1=2. The very base that everything else is built from.

Laws or lines, are also like the milk of the word, the simplest form of knowledge as well they comfort us, allow us to understand the basics, show us our limits and, more or less, all we can absorb as a babes. As David said in Psalm 23:4…..”thy (Gods’ covenant) rod and thy staff (law and correction) they comfort me”. It is a comfort, if we want to please God, to know if we have sinned, or erred as a little child. As we progress in Gods school we must grow, line upon line, line upon line, here a little there a little.

The basic building eventually become the precept upon precept, rather than trying to fulfill each and every law, we fulfill the essence or concept of all the law. Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Philippians 2:12…. work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Hebrews 11:6…without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The precept upon precept is what Jesus leads us to, that is, being able to please God, not from a list of don’ts, but from a heart of love.

Precepts; Romans 12:3……has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Ergo; Faith(line)+Spirit of Truth(line)+Judging(line)=Life in the Spirit and peace(precept/faith)

If you are able accept this and let it be established in you, the line upon line just makes sense, it’s simplicity. But you must include every word, even the ones spoken today to keep Life in the Spirit and peace.

Another example, God doesn’t accept murder. Exodus 20:13 You shall not kill. This is an example of milk, simple and straight forward. It’s easy, it’s a law, it’s a line just don’t do it.

God doesn’t like people who think about murder. Psalm 36:1 The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. 2For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. 3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. 4He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he abhors not evil. It’s meat, it’s a precept because it's greater than a single line, 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. The precept or concept, the principle, the meaning behind, You shall not kill, is your thoughts, taking control of them, ruling over your flesh, by faith.

Where does faith lead us to? Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. James 1:22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. 11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

The question may become, why is this necessary? Why can’t I just take what I want? Because God judges according to what He says is truth not what we like to think, or what your father and mother think, your pastor or denomination or any man. Romans 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. 5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance?

Point being, it's God's way or no way.

As it was true in Paul's, John's, and James' day, so it is in our day. Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. 12For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Why is it that everyone has not come to the same understanding of truth? Take your choice!

Luke 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desires new: for he says, The old is better.
2 Corinthians 4:4….the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
Mark 4:15…. they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Matthew 12:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mark 4:40 Why are ye so fearful? how is it that you have no faith?
1 Corinthians 14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad.
Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Romans 3:3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when you are judged. 5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance?
Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

And many more! Consider all the snares and pits to fall in, is it any wonder how few find Life in the Spirit? Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

Who are we at ESC that you should even listen? 2 Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

We don't want your money or your address. We don't sell anything. We don't care where you go to church, if it is truly where God would have you. We don't care if you comment. We want you to know God in truth through the Holy Spirit. We want you to be found worthy to escape the wrath of God soon to be poured out. We want you to have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. We want you to be free from religion, doubt and fear. We want you not to be double minded. We want to provide a safe place to learn what Life in the Spirit is like. To learn what the Book of Act church understood. We want you to be full of the Holy Spirit in Truth. We want to hear, "Well done My faithful servants, enter My joy!"

Ask God, see if isn’t so.
