What do Matthew 22:1-14, 24, 25, Luke 17 and Revelation 2&3 all have I common?
Hhmm? (This is your time to ACTUALLY THINK ABOUT IT!!)
All were spoken by Jesus. All are about the “Last Days”. All are about the “church”. All indicate the measurement, the plumb line, good or bad, God uses to decide who is and who isn’t worthy to escape the wrath to come. All speak of the days we actually live in. All are descriptive of some of the participants and players of Revelation 17&18, those who are actually part of the problem, the sin, and the reason for judgment. They are about those who fall into the foolish, sinful, sleeping, fearful and unbelieving categories that are described, that actually are alive today and teach others, who are the blind that lead the blind. All who are included in the judgment, resist God’s call of Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. All that will perish do so in spite of John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (They really didn't believe!)
If it came to an actual fight for your life, would you fight God? To hard to imagine? Okay then, would you fight Jesus? Not a fair question. How about fight an angel? Not a fair fight. How about fight any man who will kill you if you don’t fight back? How about fighting for your eternal life, would you do it? Men are alive today that will kill you if you don’t fight. I’m not talking about terrorists or murderers. I’m talking about men who wear ties, nice shoes and suits, with smiles on their faces. I’m talking about people who are leaders, who we should be able to trust. I’m talking about men who God Himself warned you about, if you will listen and judge, by the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, that you can avoid judgment, and the eternal death that they will and are bringing.
God said in His word that in the last days that the love of many will grow cold. It says that some will actually leave their first love. They are actually departing from truth. In fact, they are in reality departing from Jesus, because Jesus said that He was the way, the truth and the life. The love of the truth is not in them. Most of those who have departed truth will deny it vehemently, but they don’t even know themselves, they are the blind that lead. Most of their followers will deny truth as well saying, he is a good man, he loves God, but in fact are the blind that follow the blind. They mistakenly point to some heretics or some cult and say, no they are the blind, and that would be partially true, but it does not excuse them of their blindness, it only gets them less damnation.
Who then, can you trust today? Absolutely no man! Myself included. You and I are responsible for our own salvation, completely, no excuses.
God has made the “way” to know truth. You start with Jesus and continue the “way” He said to go. If we don’t believe it, we are unbelievers because without faith you cannot please God. The fearful and unbelievers are castaways, lock outs, their future includes weeping, wailing and gnashing teeth. Those that lead them to their death will receive greater punishment. If we don’t care enough to fight for truth, fight for our own life and eternal life, we are not worthy. We will not be found worthy to escape the wrath to come.
The truly scary thing of today is that the seven churches of Revelation 2&3 are the Christian faith of today. The candle stand, the light of Truth, the Holy Spirit, has been taken from most of the churches, and they don’t even know. They, the people, are so steeped in the traditions of man and the lies of their fathers, they will die in their “faith” (if they do not come out). They also do not recognize the voice of God or His servants that attempt to call them out and wake them up. Just as when Jesus came and He was not recognized by “His own”, the Pharisees, those who cannot “hear what the Spirit is saying”, those who, “Do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you”, they don’t know “the Voice of the Day”. Zephaniah 1:14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hastens greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
Even those who should be above reproach, who have heard the Holy Spirit, have given into peer pressure, not sounding the alarm of truth, not knowing that they have become part of the problem. Some have become weary, some have grown cold, some have become angry, some are given over to lust. We are not to the worst of it yet. The falling away of 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is yet to take place. God sending the strong delusion of 2 Thessalonians 2:11 has yet to happen. Evil men are getting worse and worse as it says in 2 Timothy 3:13. It is all written that it would be so. Ask yourself, when Jesus returns, will He find faith in you?
2 Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Peter 1:10.....give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
