Word 15/10/08 "Live for the Lord"

The Lord caused me to read Romans 6

Romans 6
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Lord then gave this word:-

"I am the way, the truth, the life, follow Me. I have made a way, the blood I shed the price I paid, live not in sin reject the flesh, remember this truth. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Me the Lord. Live for the Lord your God yield yourself to Me, My servants. I have called you unto the higher walk, there are clean and pure waters where you dwell, let not sin cause you to seperate yourself from Me. But keep My words and commandments, be even as I am, holy, righteous, live in truth, be as your Master is. Follow Me My people, reject your flesh for sin is loved by your flesh, there is no good thing in your flesh. Hold fast that no man take your crown. Stay in the freedom I have called you to, forever forsaking the old man, walking in the newness of life. Be in Me and stay in My will, everlasting life awaits the true children of God."

Matthew 10
24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Luke 6
40The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

1 Thessalonians 5
9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Corinthians 10
12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Comment:-
To whom much is given much is required, nevertheless in Christ all things are possible, even perfection as our Lord, Saviour and Master is perfect. For sure God loves us...

In Christ

Amen James.

Consume every word that the Lord gives you. When the Lord speaks truth to us it is for our own strength first, lest we become a castaway. Second is full understanding, it will be the basis for further understanding, precept upon precept. In that you may communicate truth and understanding. Third is speak aloud what you have heard, if the Holy Spirit instructs you to do so. Giving that which is Holy, of God, to dogs, is not right.

A prophetic word is good to share with believers, as you have here. The office of a prophet is much more stringent, with far greater requirements. Wait on God, wait on your ministry. If you wait on God you will miss neither. If we rush ahead, troubles awaits between both God and man. When the Holy Spirit flows so freely we are often tempted to move into error, thinking we are more than we should. This is not to imply you are, only a warning to the uninitiated. Obedience is better than the sacrifice of repentance. Trust God and do not lean to your own understanding, you are another mans servant. We must not think more highly of ourselves than we should because it is the Holy Spirit within us that speaks.

Just as the Spirit has spoken through you James; "Follow Me My people, reject your flesh for sin is loved by your flesh, there is no good thing in your flesh."

I as all at ESC are delighted with your fellowship in the Holy Spirit.

As I was rereading, meditating on what God was saying about these last days, how things are and will change, the Lord brought to mind a word He gave me some time ago. The Lord said, many people will die for Me, will you live for Me? That was in the context of Luke 18: 8....when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?

In searching the ways of God, without understanding men are blind to truth. Some of those blind men lead others, both of which will fall into pits. Men think that they have this automatic covering that includes them in Gods protection without doing His will. Come out and be separate means come out from under them, the blind, because even though they say Jesus is Lord, they are blind and cannot do the will of God.

Their "faith", "beliefs" or "doctrines" preclude them from "all Truth". "Ears to hear" is the requirement of being lead by the Holy Spirit. With out ears to men are blind to hear the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit.

Will you live, or rather will you prove My word during the tribulation and be left alive to join Jesus in the air, is Jesus' question and desire. Because many for this generation will not hold to their faith and lose their eternal life, their name being blotted out of the Book of Life. Many will be killed for their faith not having ears to hear.

What is the difference in having "ears to hear" and not?

Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

SPIRIT of TRUTH = EARS to HEAR
May God help those with their unbelief.

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:1 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:2 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

You got to ask yourself, can you hear as James hears? It’s only faith in truth away.

Amen, brothers.

To fellowship with the Father cannot be compared to anything in this world.

For God to speak, so simply, so faithfully to us shows the love that He has for us. Always encouraging, always chastening...making sure that we are refined and that we will be able to stand firm in all that He has given us in the times to come.

When the Lord adds someone to us (in the Spirit), it blesses me to see that they are are determined to know nothing more than Christ and Him crucified. This is what is expected of His own.

God bless you guys. I am so privileged to be able to walk beside you and call you my brothers.

It blesses me to hear what the Lord has given you James. We certainly cannot live off bread alone, but by every word from the mouth of God. Continue in his grace, holding fast to the faith you have in God. When it comes down to it, it is all about you and God alone. Work out your own salvation with fear and with trembling. Amen.
