Word 16/10/08 "Be humble"

The Lord brought me to read the latter part of Ezekiel 36

Ezekiel 36
25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
31Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. 33Thus saith the Lord God; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
36Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it.
37Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Then the Holy Spirit gave this word:-

"Let every man humble himself in the sight of the Lord. For who is God? Remember who brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. Though Moses was sent I was the deliverer. My servants are My vessels, I am the True Vine without Me what can you do? Be humble before Me and I will lift you up. Remember I am the Most High. It is not by your works nor strength but by My Spirit. Even as it is written salvation is My work, I am the One that works salvation upon man. Who are these proud men in My house? Do they not know Me? A proud look do I hate, I will surely cut down the tree that brings bad fruit. Let it not be so among you, for you are called higher, by My side, nevertheless it is me that causes these things. It is I the Lord. Even the things that come to pass, the word is My word, I cause it to go forth and do that which I said I would do, My word does not return unto Me void, not mans. Be humble, meek as I am remember the words I have said, for I the Lord resist the proud, it is not by power not by might but by My Spirit."

Romans 1
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

John 16
13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Understanding:-
It is all about our God. The time is upon us where all that which God spoke and showed to His servants will come to pass. Nevertheless the Lord requires humility and meekness from them who will not be overtaken by "that day". For in this time will it be easy for watchmen to give way to their own lusts and forget it is God that revealed His secrets to them. Even as some in the house of God have become proud at their positions or "fruit" of the ministries thinking better of themselves than they ought. So too can the season of fulfilment be a snare for them who's warnings met deaf ears of which will be turning back for answers. All that is about to occur is because God allowed it or caused it to happen, even the salvation of many:-

Revelation 7
9After this I beheld and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four bests, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12Saying, Amen:Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
13And I said unto him, Sir, though knowest. And he said to me. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

All glory and honour belongs to the Lord, resist the flesh and follow the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 10
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

1 Peter 4
17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Truth James.

The Holy Spirit said, "I will surely cut down the tree that brings bad fruit. Let it not be so among you".

Carnally minded, religious men, often those with high denominational office, judge "fruit" by their standards, not Gods. Judging themselves by themselves and their peers. While they feel that they have sought God, they have not sought God in His "Way". They have not come to the "Biblical" or Godly standard of understanding. Their standard is "bad fruit". They resist the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said in, John 16:7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Even though Jesus said this, and there is ample proof of this "TRUTH", religious men still reject God's way to Himself. As it says in, Acts 7:51 You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.

If the "Fruit of the Spirit" is of the Holy Spirit, it will remain. If the fruit is of man, it will be cut down and burned. Knowing the difference, as we can know, is by the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit a person is blind and deaf.

Yet they judge, not to their good.
