The Elevator And The Bridge

Recently during a time of prayer and worship at our church, the Lord began to speak concerning what He requires of us now and in the times to come. During this time, He spoke a word to me and then gave me a vision to understand the differences between the wise and the foolish. Freely it has been given to me, so freely I give it to you:

Word:
You have been endued with power for My Spirit dwells in you. Who will walk in strength and wisdom? Who will have boldness to speak all that I speak, in My name? You know the day is short and night comes. There is still much to do, much to accomplish for My name’s sake. You are my friends, my messengers, and I required that you minister to all that I put before you. Do not hold back concerning this for you have the power of life and death in your tongue. I tell you, I am near you always, even in your mouth. Do not speak words according to the wisdom of this world, but rather speak as the Spirit gives utterance. Is this a difficult thing? I tell you, no, but you must be obedient always to the leading of My Spirit. You are not your own and to whom much is given, much is required.

You have gifts that were given without repentance. I tell you, therefore, seek Me for understanding in these things for I would not have My people be ignorant concerning those things that have been given to you.

Who will put away the flesh, and the things of this world, and seek only the things that are given by My Spirit? All say that they do, but I ask who is wise among you? Although all things are lawful unto you, I say not all things are expedient. Do that which is expedient for you know the days of My grace and mercy are numbered. Have ears to hear.

The Lord is searching throughout the whole earth for true worshippers, those that worship Him in Spirit and in truth. He is looking for those who love to be obedient to His every call, and who desire not to please the flesh. Let us all go boldly, this day, unto the throne of grace that we may see as He sees and walk as He walks. God is with us.

Vision:
The Lord gave me a vision of a large bridge (Ambassador Bridge). As I looked at the towers of the bridge, I saw men in suits trying to climb to the top. Some were more successful than others, however all struggled to get to the top. As I watched these men continue in the pursuit, I saw large gusts of wind come and blow many of these men off of the bridge. Although some remained, they were very tired from climbing. I then saw an elevator near the bridge. Although this elevator was nothing out of the ordinary, just a regular sized (maybe slightly large) steel elevator, there were no cables or connections to the earth or the bridge below. I then saw that the doors were opened and several people were inside. As I looked inside, I noticed that there was still room left for a few more to enter in. Once it was full, the doors closed and the elevator was lifted up toward the sky.

As I received this vision and the understanding, what God was trying to show me was clear. There is a difference between those who try to achieve godliness by their own strength and those who trust in the Spirit of God to be their source for everything. The men in suits were trying to climb to the top of the bridge in their own strength. They became tired and weary because they trusted not in the Spirit of God. They are blown about by winds of doctrines and when the whole earth shakes, and the judgment of God comes upon the nations, they will not stand because they cannot stand. They have not hearkened to the voice of God and trust in the wisdom of man rather than the wisdom of God. Those who entered into the elevator that had no cables or connections were those who have chosen to hear the voice of God and desire to live their life according to all that the Spirit reveals. They love obedience better than sacrifice and live to please their God daily. They have entered into the safe place in the Spirit and have allowed the Lord to protect them. When He sees fit, the door will be sealed and no more will be able to enter in.

If there are those today who have slumbered, or have tried in their own strength to do what God has asked you to do, I ask you to submit yourself wholly to the Spirit of God that you may see and know in your heart that He is all that you need.

If there are those who have put off entering into the calling that the Lord has place upon your life, I say put off no longer. The time is short and God will hold us accountable for all that He has given us. Be as the five wise virgins who kept themselves unto the coming of the Lord, kept their lamps filled with oil, and heard the voice of the Bridegroom. I ask you, be obedient to all that He has spoken to you, and seek meekness and righteousness that you may be hid in the day of trouble to come for it is soon upon us.

God be glorified in all that we say and all that we do. Let it be so, Lord, even as you have shown us.

In Him,
Ryan

Amen Ryan,
Good word and vision. The difference between those who do make it to the top climbing the out side of the bridge tower and those who patiently wait in the elevator is the wise and foolish virgins. Those who listen to the Spirit (Ears to hear) and those who say God will bless what ever I put my hand to (without ears to hear). Both are virgins as they have not soiled, become unclean or were spiritually immoral, poluted by the world. One came by the Spirit the free born, the other came by the flesh, will of man, the child of bondage.
To the uninformed, the elevator does not represent a pretrib rapture, merely getting to the top of the bridge between heaven and earth during the tribulation, a place of safety.
