Letting yourself be rich in Pure Joy

This has been in my spirit today, and the Lord put it in me to share. It's encouragment for those to keep staying in or to keep striving to get into the Spirit.

We have much to be joyful over. The Lord loves us, and is for us. What have we to fear or to be anxious over, ever? Nothing in the spirit that is; in the flesh (which is death in itself) there is much to fear and tremble over. But we hand that over simply by being in the spirit. Are we not called to always be in the spirit? To constantly having every thought, conversation, action, behavior, and responses be captive by the Holy Ghost? Letting those things be captive sets us free from error and hurt (to ourselves and to others). Is this not a way He makes our burden light? Being in the spirit should be practiced until it is ingrained in us, ever flowing-never ceasing. It's a gift to be cherished and developed to perfection.
What does it mean to be in the spirit? Being still, seperating your flesh and all else that divides you from Higher ways. It's clear why he continues to call us to do this very thing. Because He desires us to know Him, be like Him, and love Him so we may have JOY. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
Our fleshly emotion and desires are never quenched in this world. Having His presence around us every day, everywhere we go brings us strength, wisdom, love and guidance; which is the rich and pure oil. This is Happy in the only purest form.
Isn't it full satisfaction to Praise our Father in Heaven with a sincere heart? Does it not fill us with blessings to be a servant to others? This is who He is. If you do not strive to know Him on this close of a level, this is what is dividing you. Have a heart after Him and all His perfect ways every minute of the day. Know this and let it established (not letting it be erased and re-written and erased again) in everywhere you are, everything you are: He is the bringer of Life, Light, Hope and Love. Nothing compares, and things that strive to be like so, is deceptively generic and will leave you empty and confused.

Dwell always at the spring of life, and your heart shall be made pure always.

Don't let anything steal this joy (staying harmless as a dove mindful as a serpant), for it is yours, from HIM. Our Father in heaven gives it to us (and wants to keep giving it to us) and this is more precious than rubies, jewels, heat, water, food, clothes, marriage, friends, family, money, others opinions etc. Go to nothing else but what is Pure, Holy, Sanctifying, and Edifying.
He shows us everything through His Spirit.
Keep pressing on brethern. Fight the good fight. Run the race. Be joyful.

Love in Christ because He calls us all too.

What a delight it is to be called Son, by God. To be chastened in Love as a dear child. Our Father is Love, I'm gonna go ahead and say it doesn't get better than that. Yet many refuse that offer daily, denying life and peace for the next big thing. If you don't like to serve others in love, to be at rest in peace, or to finally be filled, then your not going to like God or heaven. God, being His loving self, will give you what you want, what you chose, what you like. So beware if you like stay in your depression, violence, hatred, or what have you, because thats your reward.

Or choose Life, Love, and the pursuit the Holy One. Choose Peace, Humility, Contentment, Hope, and Faith. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all shall be added unto you.

Love in Christ,

Alex

Excellent word young Carmen. Yes it takes crucifixion of the flesh on a daily basis to allow the Spirit of God to rise in our souls and lead us as we should go. Listening to being sensitive to the Holy Spirit takes dying to self, takes bringing our bodies into subjection to God. This I am striving to do daily, though I often fail, God is good, and patient and kind and longsuffering, and will complete the work He began in me. He knows our hearts, He knows that those who love Him desire to be pleasing in His sight, and He will give us the power to be overcomers, as we strive to walk in the Spirit.

Amen Carm,

It's truth and it's wisdom, and it stirs me.

Good teaching Carmen.
The sincere depth of God's love for us cannot even be understood by the carnal mind for it is spirit. It is spiritually discerned, given by God to those who He has called, this allows within us, to call Him Father. Those who read this must not gloss over the process, the path, the way. Obedience to the Word by submission of our will to God's is the only way. Some get off the way at salvation, side railed at partial truth, never understanding all that they have available, all that is necessary. Those who are forgiven much love much. It is written that Jesus will be called “Wonderful”, and so He is. Being free from the burden of sin is wonderful, the weight of our unworthiness truly does bear down on us. Once that new found (at the cross) freedom comesm, many, who love much, are taught, “Don’t seek the gifts, only the giver”. They then become subject to whatever teachings they give heed to.

Some enter into the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, only to pull back because of their own lusts. They never valued what they should have cherished, they never valued the peace, love and fellowship that God offers. Because it is a free gift, and they acquired it simply for the asking, they did not grasp what they were given. Some never look into all that they receive, never coming to the knowledge of truth. They do not love truth enough, only if it convenient.

But those who remain in love (God is love. We love Him because He loved us first, while we were yet sinners.) are able to stay in perfect peace, because as Carmen implied, our minds are stayed on the Lord, we can stay in His presence. To the unbeliever or those who lack understanding, it may appear to be an altered state as some eastern religions aspire to, nirvana or it’s equal. But to be able to stay in the presence of God is not a mind over matter affair, it is being lead by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit of the only God. The Holy Spirit is the proof positive of the Fathers love towards us, the earnest or down payment guarantee of our inheritance. This deposit of His Holy Spirit is what will never leave us or forsake us if we stay in the Fathers will.
