The Lord reminded me of the understanding of the cup that looked nice on the outside, but on the inside it was filthy and dirty. Then he spoke this word to me.
How will you never find me if you don't let go of what you perceive to be truth, and what you think is right and wrong? Without faith, there is no pleasing me. Unless you put down what you know and walk after my ways, with faith, believing that I am the only way, the only truth, and the only light, how could you ever please me? How will you find truth? You will not. You will never find me, you will never find peace, and you will live in fear.
I wish all would be saved, but men will not put down their vain beliefs. They will not put down their ideas and in their heart they love sin. Their feet run to mischief and they lie, cheat, and steal. I have called and they have ran and hid from my voice. I love you and so I will correct you for I would have you to walk in truth and in righteousness. I would have you to be without fear and to know me. Step out in faith and do not give time for the things of this world for they will profit you nothing. Love truth and hate the lie. My ways are better than your ways. Follow me. I will show you the way.

Then the Lord asked two questions. Why are you here?(at church) and Why do you do the things that you do?(at church and in our lives) It was for me but there is wisdom for all who read it. God showed me two answers that a lot of people's honest response would be. To please men, and to feel good about themselves. When people are "people pleasers," they will not find God. God is no respecter of persons and neither should we be. I'm not saying that we should disrespect anyone purposely, but what I am saying is that we need to put God first, and respect him and his will for us. When people go to church or do a good thing out of their own intentions to feel good about themselves, they have missed the whole point. They are walking down their own path and have missed God completely because they never come to the knowledge of who God is. They are a kind of people that reward themselves rather than let God bless them and give them everlasting rewards. They might do good things and have a good heart but, all the good that they do will not be accounted to them for righteousness because God didn't tell them to do it. God's will be done. Let it be done on his time, by his plan and not on ours ever. God then showed me that when people fall under these two answers to the two questions above, they have stopped being Christians,(Christ-like people) and have become religious and if they have truly ever found Jesus, then they have lost their first love. And those who are searching for God, but have never stopped trying in their own strength and have actually found him, will always be searching. They are ever wondering stars who pass God up. This is not to condemn but to encourage.
God bless, Chad

Amen Chad,
This word and understanding speaks to me. If we are constantly trying to please ourselves with what feels good, we are missing the point of living a "Christ-like" life. Jesus didn't do the things He did to feel good about Himself or to please men. He came to do and did the Father's will. He acted upon the Father's doctrine. Therefore, when He did the right thing or even miraculous things, He took no pride in it or patted Himself on the back, because it was the Father's doctrine and glory, not His . That's what we are supposed to be like, glorifying God by doing His will. The truth is such a blessing, and it really does set us free from all trappings of the flesh.
God Bless,
Tara

Good word and understanding Chad.

This morning the Lord spoke confirmation to me as well. The very difference between wise and foolish virgins is doing God's will. Both will be in the right place at the right time. One is because they are doing God's will and were lead, the other was because they did what they thought was right. No more difficult a task was done by either. The wise have ears to hear and do God's beckoning, not a heavy task. The foolish do what they think is right, believing that they are pleasing God, but cannot hear God' voice. The foolish have a carnal mindset in working out their salvation. They have not waited on God to receive the Holy Spirit and all that entails, seal of son ship, ears to hear, faith that God's will and way is receive the Holy Spirit.

1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
