Now Will I Arise

I have cried, yet who has answered? All day log have I cried, holding my hand out. Yet day by day you refused, you corrupted your ways even the more. Shall I delight in this? I remember you in your youth, you sought me, you called upon me early. You were my jewel among the nations, therefore I blessed you and gave you strength. The nations envied you for I gave you the fatness of the land. In the midst of trial I was your stay. You had pity on the poor, you upheld the the weak yet even this is gone far from you. Your judges now are ravenous wolves, they gnaw not the bone to the marrow. Your pastors are corrupt, they slay the weak for a penny and the widow for a piece of bread. What have I heard? I have heard the sound of your dreamers and your prophets which seduce my people to err and to serve other gods. I have waited, I have long been patient. I come and I will tear down your high walls, I will bring your pride to the dust of the earth. Woe, woe, woe unto this nation! She has forgotten me day without number, the blood of my people rests upon her land. Wisdom is far from her, I hear the sound of mourning and weeping continually. Now will I arise to deliver my people from the hand of him who hates them. Now will I arise and I shall lay low the scoffers, them that despise the poor and the widow. I send my wind upon the land, not to fan nor cleanse, but to utterly take away and destroy. The strongest among them shall fall, them that did not heed my call shall fall into the pit. Yet I shall deliver my people. I will set them on high. For they sought my face, to know me for who I am. In the shadow of my wings they shall find refuge, in the stillness of my peace they shall have a sanctuary. Look to me my people, the time is at hand and the effect of every vision. I know your trials, but to them that endure they shall surely reap. I am your father and friend. Do not fear that which I bring.

Jeremiah 6
JER 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
JER 6:17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
JER 6:18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
JER 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Grace and peace,
Austin

AMEN and AMEN! Thanks for your faithfulness Austin. God has not changed!

Excuses, really good reasons, the very best intentions or even misunderstanding will just not cut it, truth is a plumb line. The love of truth has left this nation; the church, its pastors, our leaders, our judges, every man that is right in his own mind or worse, deceived and down right wicked, and just don't care. Very few have found the path to truth. Very few wave the banner of judgment in righteousness, because they don't know or respect it and are fearful of the consequence, they will lose popularity and power. They would rather please themselves and man rather than please God.

If the righteous are scarcely saved, every liberal, compromising, watering down, perverting of truth, son or daughter of the devil will not escape judgment. There are only two choices; God's way or not! God is not mocked by man.

Amen.

This truly is the word of the Lord and it is judgment to those who have not fallen upon Jesus.

We must love the truth more than our own life and we must live every day in obedience to all that the Lord speaks to us.

God bless you for your faithfulness and may He keep you, even until the end.

Love in Jesus Christ our Lord,
Ryan
