Perfect Love

This is what the Lord showed me on Sunday.

Galatians 5

1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.7Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?8This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.9A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.10I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. 11And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.12I would they were even cut off which trouble you.13For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.26Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Peter 1

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. 5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

1 Peter 2

9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.11Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;12Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.13Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme. 14Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.15For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:16As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.18Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.19For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.20For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.21For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:22Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:23Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.25For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

And this is what the Lord spoke to me:

My people, who I have called out of this world. Who I have called out of their former ignorrance and lusts of the flesh. Why do you return to those things I have called you out of? Don't you know that in the flesh dwells no good thing? How come when you are corrected or told truth you say I know, but yet you still return to the old man? The vomit. The people that will be judged are the people that loved this life unto death. I called them out of it, yet they loved this life and would not let go. Don't be as these people. You are my people and I write my words on your heart. Do not deny the truth that lives in you. Move on to perfection. To perfect love. Be longsuffering my people. Be patient and loving towards one another. Show each other the love that I have shown you. Will you be partial in how and who you love? Put down the flesh.

Then the Lord gave me a vision. -It was of a person that was wearing a very large cloak or jacket. Almost like an animal fur. It made the person look large, intimidating, and strong. In the vision, the man then took off the cloak, and revealed to all that he was just a man. He humbled himself to all, and put down his front. His portrayal of strength and confidence in himself. In order to serve God, we need to let down our fronts. We need to humble ourselves to all men and do all of our work in love. We need to be meek and lowly in order to minister. We need to let God heal of us of our wounds, put down fear of being hurt by others, and put all of our trust in God and his shield. If we trust completely in him, we will never lose our peace. Men will let us down always. But we need to put ourselves in a place where we are trusting completely in God, and put ourselves on a level where we might feel vulnerable to people, however it will bring us closer to God and open doors for ministry. This love is completely necessary and God is calling us to it. I pray we all have an ear to hear this.

Then the Lord said this: -Did I not say trust in me in all your ways and lean not to your own understandings? Run to me and I will run to you. The best strenth is love. Perfect love casts out all fear, doubt, all uncleanliness. Walk in my spirit. Not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. Be converted. Putting down childish things, and arising as a new person in the spirit. Deny the flesh. Hold on to my spirit. Love my gifts. What I have given you for it is good.

Do you judge by yourself? Will you judge by what your flesh sees, hears, or feels? My people will not. Judge all things by the spirit. If its truth, love and cherish it. If its not, discard it and never pick it up again. Learn from it.

If I provide a shack, will you desire a fortress? If I provide you a small remnant of bread, will you desire a morsel of meat? If I provide new shoes to walk, will you desire a bicycle? Be content with what I give you. I know your needs. My will be done. For I have purpose for all things. So look to the spirit and not to the flesh.

With love in Christ,

Chad

Amen, Chad.

As the Lord continually encourages and is ever faithful, this is strong meat and strength to those who will eat it.

It takes humility and a true love for God to put down the old man and follow after Jesus. Many love to say that they serve God, but in reality, they try to serve both God and their flesh. I know we must set our face like flint, but it is very saddening to see so many who do not realize the strength, deliverance, peace that they could have in Christ.

Be strong my brother and continue to walk in the fullness of who you are called to be.

Love in Him,
Ryan

Amen Chad.
God, in His wisdom, in perfecting His own, on time and in balance, gives us what we need when we need it, when we are prepared, able to receive. The line upon line, precept upon precept construction zone of our spiritual life must increase and we, the carnal, fleshly must decrease. When that which is perfect comes to our lives, to us individually, we must take it, by force of our will to submit to the will of God. Though we are built of God, we have the final say, the final responsibility to except and believe.

The spiritually minded man, those who have the mind of Christ, will know the imposing figure before us (of your vision) because the Holy Spirit bears witness, we know as we are known. All who truly come to God by entering in to His rest (if they can believe) will shed that barrier that makes others fearful, that insulates themselves and their heart from the warmth of the light of truth, and freedom from the burden of wearing that barrier.
